Clint Eastwood Un Mondo Perfetto
Voto:
very heavy film, you can predict the plot and ending after 2 minutes. However, the themes addressed are interesting, the characters engaging, and the direction is perfect. Worth watching once, also because you probably won't want to see it ever again.
Brad Bird, Jan Pinzava Ratatouille

Monster Inc for me is a children's film, alongside Nemo and A Bug's Life, the one I appreciated the least. Ratatouille is a bit more mature, but not as much as The Incredibles. That said, it is still a very successful film; Pixar made an interesting story out of a somewhat cliché plot, and that is no small feat.

Not a masterpiece like The Incredibles, but very nice and entertaining. P.S. maybe avoid the schematic introduction in the future :)
Dario Argento La Terza Madre

this is better than Inferno, no doubt about it... I might have said, it's true that Tenebre is good
Dario Argento La Terza Madre

Argento is someone who has (almost) always had good ideas, but unlike Bava and Fulci, he has (almost) always struggled to fully realize them. This film is fundamentally nice; the issues lie with the cast (definitely needing a revisit, Asia had impressed me recently in Land of the Dead, here she’s a bit like this--) and the technical aspects, which are below expectations. Otherwise, there’s a good level of gore, violence, etc., as per the script. Perhaps the best Argento since Suspiria, 3 and a half.

you could start by not talking about it, these movies live solely on visibility... why do these junk have success? Simple, we live in a country where one citizen out of two reads less than one book a year, has a predominantly television culture, and the only newspaper they buy is la gazzetta dello sport (with all due respect, I also appreciate football, but la gazzetta shouldn't be the best-selling newspaper in Italy). Producers now don’t even choose to give space to this crap for economic convenience; they do it because after years spent creating this "culture of ignorance," 50% of Italians don’t even consider the idea of watching something more "difficult."
Len Wiseman Die Hard - Vivere O Morire

beautiful! just the right amount of tacky, spectacular and badass as expected... nothing too cerebral, as usual, but it doesn’t pale in comparison to the trilogy at all.
David Cronenberg Eastern Promises
Voto:
I haven't seen it, on the other hand it hasn't been released in Italy yet... but since Mortensen is an asshole, Watts is a babe, and Cronenberg is a bastard, I think we can trust it.

I personally prefer him almost Come with us

Surrender is the bad copy of Dig Your Own Hole :D the thing is it incorporates those 2 monumental tracks which are Out of Control and Hey Boy Hey Girl, so it gets 3/4 anyway from the fans, and maybe even a 5 from the non-fans.
