I haven't heard it yet, but they've been declining from album to album. I've read conflicting opinions elsewhere too; I'll see if I can get my hands on it.

more than anything, the other review is still on the homepage, and instead of this, it rightfully punishes this half-baked piece of junk of a movie.

I agree, very disappointing film. The only one I save is Albanese; the rest of the Italian actors come close to being unwatchable (the "Hollywood" ones are decent though, even if Baldwin's surreal/time-traveler character is pointless). Benigni tries hard and it's not his fault, but he probably has the dullest and most insipid part of the film.

4 stars for this thing? Are we kidding? If you've read Poe, you'll curse loudly in front of a film that says absolutely nothing, with a plot that never takes off and boring characters devoid of charisma.

Hi Geo :) I have to see it anyway, the RC TV series was great, I hope there's something decent in this one too.

uh, stuff from 3 generations ago, how time flies... nostalgic vote, even if it's probably the best on psx (first one is good, third one is just okay, the second is a good middle ground), code veronica on the next generation (ps2/dream/cube) really takes the lead though. Later they turned them into shooters without zombies and that was that. Infuriatingly short though, can be finished in 2 hours, although the B scenarios helped.
The genre is almost extinct, apart from Dead Space (which is more of a tps than survival horror) the last 7 years have given us very little good, the recent Silent Hills are ugly (maybe because the Japanese don’t make them in-house anymore) and Resident Evil is now a franchise squeezed like a lemon without restraint.

the kind of movie I call "not bad." You can watch it, but it leaves nothing behind.

I believe that only the title of the review and the fabulous division between developer and product deserve the split ace.
David Fincher The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

The Swedish trilogy was already pretty bad, with only the first one being decent, the second one ugly, and the third one unwatchable. I haven't seen it, but I still have some hope that it might be decent; it seems like the kind of film that someone with Fincher's eye could improve quite a bit. And I really like Miss Mara.
