The inventors of the 'Forza Motorsport' saga had to launch a valid alternative to Gran Turismo, which was all the rage (and still is) on PS3, and so towards the end of 2011, the third part of the series arrives in video game stores.
Paradoxically, I believe that the game doesn't stray much from the previous versions, but this may be an irrelevant observation since there wouldn't be much to change in such standardized games. What I find beautiful instead, and (I assure you) will benefit even those without internet connection to play online, is the great number of circuits and cars which has almost forced the production house to include a second disc to download new car models and additional circuits from it. Is that not enough? Then here comes 'Top Gear.' Clarkson and co. have decided to share with the players this effective driving simulation not only by lending their own circuit for random tests but also by signing the game's opening theme. Unfortunately, however, every video game has a flaw, and I think in this case, we cannot speak of a 'real flaw' but of a monotony that in the long run becomes truly boring, and I refer to those who (like me) do not have an ethernet cable, now indispensable. The game fails to offer a truly real career even at the more difficult levels, but for enthusiasts, the driving style and the different angles can be decisive, also because there are truly breathtaking landscapes?
Is it worth buying? I think it is. It's a video game that can beat the competition from 'Gran Turismo' provided you exploit it in the right ways with challenges and duels among friends, but especially with the use of the ethernet cable that really opens up another world for you.
