Sun Ra Cosmic Tones For Mental Therapy
Voto:
Perhaps one night he appeared to me, wrapped in a thick gray that prevented me from seeing. A violent grip on the decomposed fetus of a rabbit, which I use as a 'totem,' confirmed to me that I was not dreaming. He told me he was Sun Ra but also said that being a pathological liar, it might not be true. That's how I got angry, I tore up the signed photo from Epimenides and started slashing the vinyl of Island in the Sun, then I ran to the airport in Crete and left.

I wouldn't say they were so overlooked; along with Napalm Death and maybe the Stupids (though I’m not sure if the latter can be included in the same group), they were perhaps known even by those who didn’t exactly listen to that genre. After all, grindcore was really for a select few, it never made any concessions; hard, rather brutally hard and pure. The ratings: the excellent review made me want to seek out the album, which I don't know, so I won't rate.

You seem like the Punk version of Elio's song.

09 08 2017 9 PM I discovered this group.
10 years since the last comment about them, but it's the only place where I've found something about this album to express my thoughts, which are:
SUPER! I don't know how I missed them until now, considering that I thought I wasn't a novice in HC but rather a decent connoisseur, loving the genre and listening to it for almost 30 years. I believed that I already had the best on vinyl, CD, or in files.
It really seems like there’s no end to discovering treasures, thanks to the internet.

The Residents Not Available

A veer.
That it is the masterpiece of the Residents is an objective fact.
That it is one of my ten favorite rock albums (for convenience, I define the Residents as rock) is certainly more subjective, but I don't think it's just a personal opinion; we are talking about some of the most important records in the history of this music, regardless of whether people like them or not.
The review is also good; it's enjoyable to read and captures, in my opinion, the 'flavor' of the work without being lengthy, a constant temptation when discussing these masterpieces, just look at this comment.

Furthermore, by mentioning Pere Ubu, Suicide, and Devo, you've named another 5 of my ten from the desert island list.
Okay, I particularly love the old N-Wave, but the other 5 are not, yes, because I would still have the PIL to add.
Here instead, I’ll just add the greetings.
hasta pronto.

Well, this album had a significant influence on my tastes and even on my life, at least for a little while. I have to admit that I was lucky to be a teenager when there were `PiStoLs and all those who followed.

Lorelei is magical, sublime; it feels like hearing the song of the mythical Siren, but it would also be perfect as a soundtrack for a porn movie (*).
The reception fits the record, so it's excellent (compl.),
This, along with Head over Heels and Victorialand, are my favorites in their discography, this one among the three mentioned.
And I'm not even a dream pop fanatic, but these (and Dead Can Dance) are those bands so good that they transcend genres.

Yeah, okay, sorry it's night, I'm dying of sleep and I'm listening to this on headphones, alright let's try again.
If an album, after many years of listening, still hasn't become boring, but rather continues to be enjoyed with emotion, it's a masterpiece—there are no male organs involved.
Such is this album; artistic excesses and creative deconstructions alone aren't enough to evoke similar feelings; they would simply turn out to be failed experiments.
