mariaelena, I remembered to ask you something: what is parapsychology related to suspensions of the fear of the unconscious? I asked my trusted fruit vendor, but nothing: he was completely out of it. Thanks for the response!

I would gladly add that Peter Mullan is a fantastic actor whom I really like (I particularly loved "My Name is Joe" by Ken Loach). Speaking of the "cape di pezza" and the actions portrayed in this beautiful film, I would like to share an official statement from Mary Jo McDonagh, who spent a large part of her life in the "cape di pezza" convent of Santa Maddalena (which perhaps would have been more just to share equally with human cases like some present on this page), years that marked her terribly, and when she saw Peter Mullan's film, she remarked that he was too kind, and that much of the aberrations, oppressions, violence, coercions, and terrifying punishments that took place in that place were never known, nor will they ever be in the future. These are not even human houses; human houses are still human; these are inhuman entities, like the old woman in the film who spends 40 years in the convent and as she desperately tries to find comfort before death receives as her last words: "Make us a favour: Hurry up and die."

mariaelena, I did as you said and asked my trusted psychologist: he said that "parapsychology related to suspensions of fear of the unconscious" means nothing. I'm desperate, help!

Mariaelena, sorry if this has nothing to do with the review, but I'm taking the chance that you're here to ask you: what does parapsychology related to fear suspensions of the unconscious mean?

"The Wicker Man" is a 1973 film by director Robin Hardy (a really good film, soon to become a cult classic, and featuring an excellent performance by Christopher Lee). But did you know this? There’s no mention of it in the review, yet this is important for two reasons: first, because I’ve always loved that film, and second, because this piece of crap is a Hollywood remake that should have taken out Nicholas Cage first, then the director, and finally the one who came up with the idea for the remake. This is to say that if you wanted a "thrilling story capable of keeping the audience on the edge of their seats," you should have gone to see the original. But what did I mean by that? Ah yes: I don’t know.

stay silent? the damn Catholic Church and the sexually frustrated priests? never! let’s not forget we are talking about the most hypocritical and unpunished organization in the history of humanity. but then again, wasn't this story created by them in the first place? the guilty one punishing the punisher?
