Hey France, what do you know about the latest Wilco? Do you know if Jim O'Rourke is participating (I heard he was supposed to be the fifth member)? And have you listened to the latest by Jay Farrar? If so, what do you think? Have you read the lyrics? He talks about death every three sentences; that worries me, let’s hope for the best. And then, that voice so desperate, mmm. I repeat, let’s hope for the best, also because I care about him, I owe him a lot.

Hi Scott, here’s my take: the review is nice, well done, I like it, except for the Italy in Northern Europe part, which makes me smile. :))) The album is good, nothing more. I didn't like the previous one, and this one doesn't drive me wild either. The guy better think about growing up; there’s still time to improve, and I trust him (and I continue to follow him, which is a good sign). Bye Scott!!!

To those who like Wilco, I would also recommend the album by "Loose Fur," featuring Tweedy and O'Rourke (beautiful, two great artists), and Minus 5, with Buck from REM. Ah! How much I love alt.country... posers beware, country will take over!!! :)))

The album cover was created just a few days before September 11th and - a macabre coincidence - it resembles the two twin towers (in some ways). p.s.: easycure but do you have two personalities?!?!? :)))))))

"No depression" is truly a genre; from that album on, certain records have been categorized as "no depression." It wasn’t a partisan discussion, really. "No depression" blends alt.country, pop, and roots rock, with a type of production that’s kept to a minimum (definitely not the case with this album) and quite gritty sounds, a dirty attitude. Hi guys, have a great end of Easter Monday.
