kazzarolina guys, this is a disko that's way too out there, it’s beautiful, I mean really beautiful, like Edge's guitar just slays, I mean this disko is so ahead of its time. My girlfriend and I go completely crazy, like it’s truly a blast, never heard something like this before, I mean the uddue are too strong, like this CD is a scream, it’s just too intense... What? We're not on TV? What the hell am I talking for, then?

"It is still a work far superior to what the 'competition' has done in the last ten years (except OK COMPUTER by RADIOHEAD). I mean, excuse me, it’s the best album of the last ten years, even compared to Ok Computer, and you give it a 2?!?!? And a 3 then, what?!? Here you go!!!!!!"

The thing that frustrates me (what you blame me for) simply comes from the bitter realization that a record like this made – I don’t know – by an emerging band would go completely unnoticed, while, just because it has the U2 label, it receives your lavish praises, you, eternal worshippers of God Bono. You see, guys, I listen to hundreds of new records every year, I spend my days searching for little submerged treasures, I don’t think there is anything more beautiful than finding a hidden gem, a record that can change you for the better, something BEAUTIFUL. And you have no idea how difficult that is. There are hundreds of bands, in the world, that produce wonderful music, who have ideas, talent. But all this will be irreparably wasted. And do you know why? Because there are bands like U2 around, who don’t invent anything, but whose damned record labels spend millions on promotion, squandering and wasting. Meanwhile, the wonderful ideas of those hundreds of bands will never see the light, and it drives me crazy. And stop saying that this is a great album! But what is a great album to you? What must it contain? If this is one for you, then I could recommend thousands of albums like this, and you would like them all. If you like this, then you like music made with little heart.

The "social cancer" is here. :) Hey! I don't quite understand what you want. It seems to me that there’s not much more to say about the music. I mean: I called "Vertigo" a rock ride, "One Step Closer" boring electronic, "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" is the usual clichéd ballad. Honestly, I don't know what more could be said about songs like these. What do you want me to say? "Oh, Edge's guitar launches into 5 solos, as planned by the record label, Bono's voice is perfect and clean, as designed by the record label, the bass is precise and timely, there are 34 choruses, etc... etc.. The truth is that in this album there isn’t a – I mean not a single – song that has a glimmer of originality. These are songs that have already been written thousands of times.
