I agree that Treves is an interesting character, and I also agree on the overall quality. I gave it a 3; it's a film that at times moved and struck me, but compared to other Lynch films, adequately cited by Ajeje, I found it inferior, "too simple," less emotional... That said, I am not a critic, I don’t know much about filming... it's fair that I vote based on the impressions it gives me and relative to other films by the same author, and not because someone (no matter how authoritative, like a minchiadura) tells me about Wellesian shots...

no no..ajeje is right...come on..this movie is cute...but nothing more...there are a few touching scenes, it’s true...but it’s just a stretched sufficiency...it’s a bit manipulative, it aims to provoke rather easy and predictable emotional reactions...the story of the monster not accepted by society is not that original...
