Eddie Cochran Somethin' Else
Voto:
Very good. Magical and touching review. Cochran is a great artist. True and genuine, he composed songs that I also grew up with, dreaming of an optimistic and "Fonz-like" America that no longer exists, or perhaps never existed. C'mon Everybody!
Antonín Dvořák Sinfonia n° 9 "Dal Nuovo Mondo"

This symphony is beautiful. I like it a lot. Grass, thank you for these classical music reviews.
John Legend Once Again

It's a nice little disc, but I prefer the first one.
Henry Mancini Moon River

Andrea, it will be MoonRiver, it will be who knows what déjà vu memories that cloud my mind. It will be your crystal-clear description that immediately sets the film in motion with a soundtrack that is perfect for warming up. Two 5!

Bruce Springsteen The River
Voto:
Thank you, Carmine. For me, the phase that closes with The River is the phase of spontaneity, youth, strength. Romanticism, highways, the smell of gasoline, adventures, huge loves, races in the suburbs but also despair, tragedy, disillusionment. Springsteen with those records precisely painted a period when cell phones, computers, and the internet didn't exist, and women had to be picked up in the car right outside their homes. A young person in the '70s didn't have in their eyes planes slicing through the Twin Towers. Or wars in the desert. In the US, the great boom of the '60s was ending, but the equally enormous explosion of the '80s was beginning. In between, these dirty and bastardly '70s so fabulously represented by Springsteen. The next phase will be a child of its time, global success, a separation, maturity, the farewell to the E Street. Nevertheless, a career that I believe, as of today, is unmatched in many ways.
