I should mention that this is the first album by the goblin that I’ve listened to, and I must say I really appreciated it, strong in its excellent and rumbling inspiration. Trying to confine "Volta" into rigid musical styles is pointless, considering the high level of experimentation contained within it. The most exceptional thing is definitely Björk's voice; I have never heard anyone modulate their voice in such a Martian and otherworldly way, yet also subdued and sophisticated, a true and icy queen of the ice. Among the tracks, "Dull Flame of Desire" and "Innocence" stand out.

Dimmu Borgir In Sorte Diaboli (Deluxe Edition)
Voto:
I haven't listened to it, with Dimmu I'm stuck at Enthrone.
Therion Gothic Kabbalah

I've never liked Therion; I've always found them overrated.

Perhaps it’s one of the band’s albums that I prefer: obsessive, melancholic, oppressive, with medium-slow tracks that owe a lot to early Burzum.
