great album, yes yes it's not frusciante but it was good for him to take a break, navarro brings a new sound, why not? the arrangements are sublime, the bass is on fire not to mention chad who pounds away with a rhythm that's always brilliant (and difficult! to all bassists/guitarists/drummers: try learning the songs on this cd, you'll see!)... p.s. I love frusciante but the ending of deep kick where flea sings imitating his voice is just too much!!

mother's milk = punk, funky, and LSD second only to BSSM = almost perfect it's their best moment one hot minute = frusciante and heroin don't get along enter navarro new style great album, but they're not the red hot californication = the guitarist with scars is back and everything flows like it used to less funky more polished the last great album of the '90s by the way = apart from a little bit of shit for amorphous teenagers ..the next?
