"Hello bjork, I'm busy with other things. I check DeBaser a couple of times every day and only comment on what seems interesting to me."
I can only feel honored, then :D

Not bad, but definitely a bit too cold, and they played for too short a time. However, for other reasons, I give four instead of three. The Lick were a show.

Amazing Better Off Dead, Bartlebloom! I would review it myself if I hadn't already done so for another site...beautiful! I don't have this one, but I absolutely intend to get it!

I couldn't see it...maybe I wasn't in the mood. It's a shame because it seemed interesting, but perhaps that evening I found it to be a bit too dreamlike and grotesque. Needs a rewatch.
Terrence Malick The New World

"As Fantozzi would say: 'The new world è una cagata pazzesca.' I could save five minutes (2h40m the total duration) to make a documentary to send to Piero Angela.. dialogues so insignificant that they could compete with the 'Teletubbies' (...), the audience every 30 minutes lost interest, you could hear groans, curses, and insults until the final laughter born from moments of pure desperation and exhaustion. After about ten false alarms, the long-awaited end arrived... a roar of applause." I completely agree with this, and the comments, even the most absurd, are justified... Malick has gone overboard and made a rather ugly film, uncompromisingly. The only redeeming features are the beauty of the scenery and the attention to costumes, etc., but beyond that, there's really very little.

No. Blame Zemeckis for that, the political bits with his wife are his own business, thanks.

Yeah, that's true. However, I still think it's a good movie, with some great moments, especially visually... it lacks a bit in editing and the division into almost episodic segments...
Dario Argento Inferno

Really disappointing. By the way, the amazing essay by Emerson will appear once, maybe twice at most. Flunked. The review, as usual, is excellent :)
