uhm...er...I listened to the aforementioned CD before getting into metal...after Rhapsody and Rammstein and before Iron Maiden and so on...it's the only CD I have by Muse, and frankly, I liked it...butterflies and hurricanes first and foremost...I wonder why I didn't dislike it...oh well

I apologize for the response given to easycure; I overreacted, but I hate baseless criticism like the one they made and being considered a right-wing fascist for the music I listen to... sorry easy.
Green Day American Idiot

You can see that Green Day acts anti-American just because it’s more transgressive, and hence they rake in the cash, yet a band that’s so anti-American and nonconformist is always on MTV, which is so commercial... they are ridiculous in their contradictions, and their music is no different from that of Good Charlotte, or at least I can't find anything different... but at least Good Charlotte doesn't claim to be transgressive punk and anti-American, or at least not as much as Green Day, who are truly laughable... anyway, beautiful beautiful beautiful review... congratulations.

Well, I agree that for Manowar I made a statement about the lyrics not being the most important thing and so on, but for this CD I make an exception... it's hard for me to avoid feeling nauseated listening to the ballad "L'Aquila in Lacrime"... disgusting patriotism, it really repulses me... Having overcome this hurdle, I find that the album has nice moments (Attila, Blue Max, Waterloo) but ultimately it’s not much until I listen to the second CD containing the masterpiece suite "Gettysburg," which, despite not leaving behind an annoying patriotism, is an epic and engaging masterpiece, truly untouchable... they should have just released "Gettysburg" as the album.

I’m part of that 30% that likes Rhapsody... maybe because after Rammstein, they were the ones who introduced me to metal, and I received this album as a gift when I knew nothing about metal... even though I’m aware of epic monsters like Manowar or power metal, I can’t say that Rhapsody isn’t amazing like this album, despite the ridiculous videos... and then there's a band that reminds the world that even here in Italy we make metal, that we’re not just 883 and Francesco Renga, that can blend classical music with power metal, adding epicness—where else can you find that? And then Fabio Lione is from Pisa or somewhere in the province... how could I, being from Pisa like him, not support him?? The lyrics are ridiculous, but as Manowar teaches, what’s the problem?
