Cannibal Corpse Tomb Of The Mutilated

Anyway, I don't know Cannibal and I'm not a fan of death, brutal, or black metal... I mostly lean towards power, NWOBHM, and industrial (Rammstein)... but that's more than enough for the posers! A really nice review, though.

I don’t even like the flashy guys. "Boohea, I’m going to the pacha (Tirrenia nightclub) to look for girls on my ssssscooter with the ssssssssqualo for 200 euros... Boohea, look at that one dressed in black... Boohea, what a sssssssssssskrauz of shit... Boohea, let’s listen to the Gemelli Diversi!" No, I can’t stand those guys... with a few exceptions... Anyway, it’s true, unfortunately, I probably wouldn’t get along with many metalheads... especially the fascist ones... but where I live (Pisa), I know few metalheads... and in the end, I’m actually glad about it... I feel like I don’t conform to the masses, and I like that... I hate the masses.

Well, if it helps you feel better, I couldn't care less about the fact that Kurt did drugs... I mean, if Kurt was doing drugs, I think he was wrong, but I don’t feel like thinking badly of him or the band for that... There are many great musicians and artists who do and did drugs, and I find it silly to criticize their work just for that... For example, I really don't like Nirvana, but only because they don't convey anything to me and maybe I don't appreciate their genre... But I couldn’t care less about Kurt's private life; in fact, I even find him kind of likable :)

Raziel, the initial riff of 2minutes is totally ripped off from Flash Rockin’ Man by Accept, besides what you’ve listed... who cares, great album.
Fabrizio De André La buona novella

When I was little, they used to sing songs like "Tre Madri" as a lullaby to me... metal, non-metal, I listened to it again and I say... I LOVE this work! The lyrics, despite my stoic atheism, hit me just like the whole album does... I love "L'infanzia di Maria," the choral piece, no, what am I saying... you can't mention tracks; this album has to be seen as a single track, a majestic masterpiece that cannot fail to capture anyone who hears it, even from a distance: the poser and the metalhead, the atheist and the religious, all of them. You can't deny a masterpiece of such magnitude... immense. You can't know until you've tried what it means to alternate it with "The Number of the Beast" for three hours instead of studying... well... sorry for the bunch of bullshit... great De André.

Well, I don't listen to Manson anyway, but from what little I've seen of him (the interview in the movie Bowling for Columbine), he doesn't seem like an idiot; rather... very good, I liked the review even though I don't know Manson, the review is really nice!

Cobi, be kind and avoid putting metal with rap, Spears, Aguilera, Timberlake, because when do you ever hear metal on the radio or TV? And then notice that Nirvana is a bit more commercial than metal (a bit euphemistic)... Nirvana is a band that was built and lived for the character of Cobain, and as much as I've tried to listen to this album, I found nothing in it, it gave me nothing, and my opinion is that they're highly overrated, and metal, like Iron Maiden for example, from the 80s is way better. Then again, I may not be an expert on grunge, I don’t like it, and maybe it’s not fair for me to judge, but this "masterpiece" listened to during my pseudo pre-metal era didn’t seem like one to me, actually... overrated album, even more so for the band... as someone said, de gustibus, non disputandum est, don’t lynch me :)

System Of A Down Toxicity

Well... I listened to it, but I have to say that between one track and another there’s never much difference; they’re all quite similar with the usual shouted central chorus and an alternation of arpeggios and louder sounds... I know I'm not expressing it well... Undoubtedly, it’s pleasant to listen to, no doubt about it, but to call it a masterpiece, in my humble opinion, is a stretch... I enjoy listening to each track, but they don't really give me anything without a bit of adrenaline... The part I like the most is bounce, who knows why... a really pleasant little record, but far from being a masterpiece...
