Linkin Park Hybrid theory

Well, what can I say, there are people who started with Blink 182, then moved on to Linkin Park, then to Dream Theater and then to everything else. Years after the release of an album that I must acknowledge brought me closer to metal, I realize three things:
1) Linkin Park up to Hybrid Theory (including the EPs and unreleased tracks) were original and fresh.
2) Everything that came after is commercial stuff (Although Reanimation is original in its own way).
3) Chester Bennington sucks; hearing that he’s one of the singers with the most beautiful voice really infuriates me. He doesn’t sing, he’s off-key. If he’s not off-key, it’s because he’s screaming. If that’s a singer, then I'm an ice cream maker.
Call it nostalgia, but I like this album.

Well, fantastic album, but I can't put it ahead of Images and Words, The Human Equation (!!!!!!), Operation: Mindcrime, Snow (Okay, it's prog rock, but I love it), The Perfect Element, and the like. I can place them all at the same level, level perfection. Albums released by people who have seen "the light."

Haha, of course! Well, I put it on to lift my spirits, always torn between this and Caparezza, eh eh!

Well, what can I say, either he's the new messiah or when mom takes off his little apron, she should give him crayons instead of the keyboard...

Juno 60, your comment seems out of place since this is simply a review of the concert in Rome, and I don’t think you can dispute what’s written... If you want to give your opinion on the albums, I agree, but do it in the appropriate reviews. You can't rate a concert a 1 just because FOR YOU (I’m over 17, listen to a lot of music, and absolutely don’t believe that Dream Theater is finished; if a band sucks, I give my opinion, not everyone thinks like you, we've been arguing about Dream Theater since the site started :D) they’re done. As for the fact that a lot of people idolize DT, I agree, but I don’t think that should discredit them. The concert was something special, I can tell you that having seen many, and not just from Dream. Cheers.

Hehe Coelum, it's much easier than you think... and I'm telling you this as a singer ;)

Before you say that my comment is pointless, I would like to point out that it serves as a response to what you replied to me earlier (Unfortunately, I get tired of coming back to respond often since I lose 10 hours of my life just loading the page) ;)

Well, what can I say? They really get on your nerves to the point where you can't talk about it rationally... It doesn't bother me that someone writes a review like that, and it doesn't bother me that someone doesn't like Dream Theater. What upsets me is that so many people turn against it in this way, offending one of my favorite bands (among which are also Area and King Crimson, but to you, if someone listens to Dream Theater, it means they’re an ignorant who only listens to them and writes nonsense...), offending me and the thousands of people who listen to them. I agree that there are also anonymous idiots who say if you don't like Dream Theater, you don't understand a thing, but you find those for Linkin Park too... What can I say, I must have been wrong to form an opinion about you (Unfortunately, after reading your comments on many reviews, I couldn't help but form one) and I would like to talk to you about other albums by Dream Theater (Images and Words and Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence above all), unfortunately, I know we wouldn't get anywhere; I reiterate the concept that they get on your nerves too much to discuss it. Nothing is worse than when people shut themselves off.

He seemed high! I mean, other times he would just stand still with his eyes closed and play, but that night he was bouncing around and thrashing about! Anyway, I forgot to mention that the audience was on par with the Dream, warm, engaged, and energetic!

This concert was phenomenal, nothing to add. It seems that every time I see them again, they improve! They are like wine... I give the review a 4 for the memories of a beautiful day (I risked my life on the highway at night because I was dying of sleep...), even though it is full, and I mean, FULL of grammatical errors, especially with the verbs (Well, maybe you were writing progressive and felt like exaggerating with the offbeats...)! The concert deserves a 5; there were some absurd things, the masked dreams, Myung who was completely out of it, and especially Portnoy who didn’t show off!!! I mean, really, it’s the first time Portnoy didn’t start doing solos at the limit of what’s possible—spitting at the camera and similar things :D! Simply fantastic in everything, and I don't say this because I'm a fan, but because that night, I and the other thousands of people witnessed a performance that is unmatchable for 99% of existing bands...
