Hear ye, hear ye! An Italian power metal band decides to create a concept album! What? What's new about this? Simple: it's an intelligent concept! And it's wonderfully musicked!

The 2003-2004 season was full of (positive) changes for our homegrown band, first among them the departure of guitarist Olaf Thorsen from Labyrinth, which allowed him to fully dedicate himself to the realization of his "divine vision" ... accompanied by new delightful companions such as the Italian keyboard deity Oleg Smirnoff, the rhythmic bulldozer Matteo Amoroso, and the golden voice Michele Luppi. No small potatoes!
Particularly noteworthy is the powerful, crystal-clear, and absolutely extraordinary vocal performance... Once you've heard the 20-second high note in "La vita fugge" or the goosebump-inducing interpretations in the poignant "Identities" and the mighty "Colors Of My World" (perhaps the most successful track), you'll understand what I mean! Phenomenal are all other aspects of the work as well, from songwriting to arrangements, from artwork to lyrics. Everything merges into a perfect alchemy capable of both moving and aiding reflection on the main theme of the concept: the search for an answer to the most unsettling existential questions intrinsic to our human condition.

Such an ambitious gamble could have ended in total failure, but the good "commander" Olaf, having learned from the difficulties faced during the separation from Labyrinth and supported by exceptional musicians, has managed to bring to life a true masterpiece.

Not to be missed!

Luppi’s voice is adept at embodying the story described by the profound lyrics, capable of distinctly and clearly distancing themselves from the numerous texts by colleagues in the genre usually prodigious in producing fantasy banalities.

Those 300 abundant seconds that are capable of raising the hair on my arms every time.
