Alright, with your last statement I've understood everything. I give up. You're a lost cause.

I’m almost as old as you, just a bit clueless. I expressed an opinion, and you deliberately insulted me. This pointless discussion could have easily never started if you had just replied politely. For me, everyone can listen to whatever they want, but if I disagree, I express an opinion, since comments on reviews serve this purpose. I never claimed to know everything or to be the best; I simply have a decent musical knowledge (thanks to my passion for music, which I practice as well as listen to). Maybe it's true that I'm a bit too blunt and brusque in saying what I think, but I’m not the one who started insulting. If for you the solution to these issues is to resort to violence, can I really think of facing someone mature?

I Dream have often cited Pfm and Banco; at the concert in February 2004, Jordan Rudess played "Impressioni di Settembre"... anyway, I understand easycure's point of view, but I do not agree. For me, the Dream did not invent anything, but they are still creative, even when copying and pasting parts from other songs ;P. But above all, I like them a lot, and that’s why I listen to them...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA and you would be 28 years old? Come on, don’t talk nonsense. You don’t know how to engage in a dialogue, you only know how to insult (and in a very childish way...), and at 28 one should be mature enough to understand certain things. Not to mention the fact that at this age you can’t be a brain-dead fan of any group… if you really are 28, bro, life has already punished you, I’ll stop piling on…

Come and pick me up, I have no problem. I'm certainly not going to give my personal information in a public place just to beat up a 14-year-old; these things can cause issues for someone with a social life... You tell me where and when you want, and I'll gladly teach you a lesson in manners, considering your mother was probably too busy sucking dick instead of raising an insignificant and ignorant spoiled child, convinced of being important... where I come from, guys like you die before they even open their mouths.
PS: I reread some of your other comments, you always repeat the same phrases... just imagine how you must be with the guitar! HAHAHAHA

I'm sorry, Dave Warrior, but what the hell are you talking about? There's no need for you to act all tough; I've been performing for years too since I sing quite a bit, and my favorite genre is progressive, but I also have a great love for Fusion. So I assure you I know a thing or two about technique, and Slipknot's level of technique is like Tremonti's level in economics... Anyway, my point about comparisons with other bands simply meant one thing: Slipknot didn't invent anything; what they do, they took from the bands I've mentioned (doing it much worse, since there are bands that, even if they haven't invented anything, still do their job excellently), and the billions they've made don't bother me, as I see music not as a source of income but as an opportunity for artistic fulfillment... I read every review that comes my way on Debaser, even from artists of entirely different genres, so as not to become too rigidly focused on just one. If I express an opinion on an album, I'm ready to explain why I consider it an absolute masterpiece or total crap. I expressed an opinion responding to someone who said that you can listen to Pantera (which, to be honest, have inspired Nu Metal the most...), Metallica (citing Nothing Else Matters... a VERY thrash song that kids like...), and Ozzy Osbourne in the same way. Personally, I find that an ENORMOUS bullshit. From my point of view, if I listen to Master of Puppets by Metallica, Cowboys from Hell by Pantera, Welcome to Hell by Venom, I consider SLipknot to be CRAP. I can listen to a song and say it's nice, but nothing more. I listen to everything and I assure you of that because I love music; the only thing I can't stand is the fabricated characters designed to make money. 9 masked people on stage are ridiculous, nothing more. And above all, a band that gets pelted with bottles at the Gods of Metal says a lot about the appreciation of the people who listen to REAL metal. But a band followed mainly by 14-year-olds can only have inflated and childish fans, who can only insult, proving themselves deserving of what they listen to...
PS: I'm not totally biased against nu-metal; System Of a Down is very original (even if a bit too repetitive and self-referential) with their own sound, and even the early Korn had something to say. Bye.
