And the music? Mainetti did that too, I see. I might end up watching it, maybe. One day. Are you an enthusiast? Even in the early afternoon? And then I wanted to ask you, "but not even the tuna?" Bye

Well written, it seems to fit Lora's nature well. Has anyone talked about her in DeB yet? Come on... I’m not sure if I ever heard that back then. However, I wore out the vinyl of Pedigree Charm, which someone never returned to me. I associate her, I don’t know why, with The Raincoats: from the late '70s, early '80s, I liked them a lot. As for Confusional Q, I don't think I ever owned a record (but maybe I did, who knows) but I saw them live and it was quite the experience...

I found this information: ā€œLike A Bird Or Spirit, Not A Faceā€ is the realization of the great desire of Sainkho Namtchylak, the legendary voice of Tuva (with a repertoire of about ten albums and concerts all over the world), namely to meet and work with North African musicians. This was made possible quite fortuitously, thanks to the producer, multiple nominee and Grammy Award winner, Ian Brennan (TV on the Radio, Flea, Tinariwen, Lucinda Williams, Los Lobos, Nels Cline of Wilco, Bill Frisell, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Jonathan Richman, Richard Thompson).
The two scheduled a meeting with the rhythm section of Tinariwen in France, managing in a handful of intense days to write and record material even for a double album, leading to a magical encounter between two peoples rich in nomadic traditions, who, although coming from completely different continents, easily found inspiration in a common dialogue ground that is unique and representative of their musical, social, and cultural realities, both of which are protagonists in struggles for survival.
With the voice of the world's most famous throat singer at the helm of the project, the collaboration pushed beyond new boundaries, mixing atmospheres aimed at creating a singular and ethereal balance like none other, as demonstrated by the personal creative experience lived by the three artists involved.
Sung in Tuvan, Russian, and English, the music of ā€œLike A Bird Or Spirit, Not A Faceā€ ranges from the punk-rock of the steppe to captivating repetitive and elongated sounds, also offering us ballads with an epic tone.
Mixed by Irish sound engineer David Odlum (Tinariwen, Frames), the sound reaches an unclassifiable, timeless place where quality transcends every identifiable genre. ----------------- on February 2nd, they were in Milan, in concert with musicians from Tinariwen, damn...

I didn't know about this record, I'm looking for it. However, her name is SaiNkho and there are 3 other reviews of her albums. If you correct the name, yours will be available alongside the others. From what you say, this seems like a mix of ethno-electronic influences, but her journey is quite intriguing, also connected to experimental and improvised music. She is a little miracle, a truly unique personality. - P.S. sooner or later you need to explain to us why the hell you put random spaces before commas. And now even before periods. Enough.

Yes, believe me, I completely understand the dead end you’ve gotten yourself into, my old friend. And you have to complete the mission, there’s no way around it. Wondering why you took on such a venture is human; at some point, it's hard to find a truly plausible reason. Here’s an external one that might come in handy for you: break the flow pouring onto the homepage from Battlegods. Sorry if that’s not much. TVTB

Look, I don't know if you have it already, but here you find the legendary "Napoletana," a chronological anthology of Neapolitan song in 12 volumes, published between 1963 and 1967 Roberto Murolo - Napoletana.rar | Ulož.to
Unfortunately, the mp3s are 128 kbps, but thank God the quality is decent. If you encounter any difficulties in obtaining it, send me a message.

I remember reading it, writing a comment that then didn’t go through, and letting it go. The comment said that I agreed and that I liked the fact that you hadn't gotten into various squabbles among the comments. And that I was looking forward to reading you at work on other albums. However, I see that hasn’t happened...
