No, Eumir, itā€™s not the ā€œfemale vocalistā€ effect; rather, over time and with the expansion of listening domains, Iā€™ve definitively moved past that. It was precisely his ā€œuniverse,ā€ even pianistically. I believe I heard something by Elias with horses on the cover about 10 years ago... the term new age surfaces in my mind, but itā€™s probably misleading. I invite you to my rec of Moodswings, which shares with yours a certain ā€œintimacy,ā€ few passersby... there are samples with some voices, including female ones. The rec isnā€™t anything special, thrown together before I even had a definitive idea of the material, but the album is very interesting. Let me know what you think if you have the album.
