The map and the territory, for me, is undoubtedly the most significant. Others, including Extension of the Domain of Struggle, are the most "enjoyable" (as much as this is the least straightforward term when thinking of the tender Michel). The Particles was the first one I read, also being the first translated into Italian (@sotomayor is not the first novel, the first is Extension). It left me perplexed, probably due to the overly high expectations generated, coincidentally, by a music critic who spoke of it in enthusiastic terms.
