@Gab: the voice is indeed not exceptional, but it’s intimate and functional to the tracks, I quite like it. - @Punisher: Many preferred "Love Trap," but this one feels more cohesive and resonates more with me, even if it can come off as "monotonous." - @John: I must admit I don’t know Haden's first album with the Quartet, even though I really like the others: between the two, my ignorance seems much more serious (your rec. made that record climb up the shopping list).

I feel a bit like an intruder in this nice little group of followers. I confess that I know I listened to the Prugne in a previous life, but I don't remember this album. Dear Marco, get a grip. The vulgar insult that opens your latest post shows that if there’s someone who needs to show humility, it’s you: what do you expect, that people agree with you or be intellectuals? Masini’s songs are horrible, they make me feel disgust and, at best, complete indifference. They are ugly, and there’s no chance of redemption because it’s precisely that way of conceiving music, of structuring pieces, of writing lyrics, that repulses me. So what? What a low point. It’s music that’s missing, it’s embarrassingly cliché, and I’m not wasting time looking for charts with his peers, whether they are performers or even authors of such painful "creativity."
