The Rolling Stones Their Satanic Majesties Request

Hi, Lewis. I'm lighting up a light joint of weed. Given the hour. Ah, have you ever heard the "wave" version of ā€œ2000 Light Years From Homeā€ by I can't remember which band? There was something like "Dance" in the name… Oh well, I’ll put it out, my memory is already damaged enough.

For me, the masterpiece is the title. If only I could remember it...

Come on, Hal. How cute this "buying advice." Reading you made me think that the same treatment could be reserved for so much of that "stuff" churned out continuously, often met with enthusiasm... But you don’t tell us why you bought it. I mean, how did you come to it: some reviews, friends' recommendations, a single on the radio? Premeditation or impulse buy? There are many paths to the "pack" (and let’s not indulge the ambiguity of the term) - Bye.

I heard them live in the early days and they showed a lot of promise. I’ll try to get this and also give a listen to that oddity you mentioned (Larsen+XIU XIU).

It's a strange record, in some ways great, in others disappointing. For me, it was a bit like psychop.; it just couldn't win me over. I know that some instead "feel" it like Donjunio. To him, a 5, 'cause the page is nice. For the old Crosby, something between a 3 and a 4.

And I confess to you that many years ago, a friend of mine, an heroic metalworker to whom I had gifted the Journey some time before, came to me. He had never listened to classical music. He brought me the Requiem, which he had just heard by chance, and which I didn't know. He insisted that I listen to it, right away. I am still grateful to him for that. Reading John’s page brought it back to my mind. Funny, isn't it?
