Dmitri Shostakovich Sinfonia n° 7 "Leningrado"

Massimof, have you ever heard the Brodsky Quartet tackling its compositions? Perhaps in that case the allergy might, at least, lessen. Grassopher, I copy, ignoring this symphony, Mullah's comment. Exactly. And I note (in a volume now of Mahlerian proportions, forgive the reference) also the valuable comments and suggestions from experienced listeners, which in pages like this, thank goodness, are never lacking. How lovely, this clean air.

And how can you not expect Gabbox & ZiOn in Mauri's DeDubrecensione? I don't have this one, but every now and then, a little vinyl from each makes its way onto my turntable. - The latest Orb is halfway on my shopping list. But it's from Gab that I was expecting a page....

Well, even "I feel irresistibly NOT talking.." is a bit convoluted and perhaps not the happiest - McSampyr, it's a piece I hadn’t seen you around, or am I wrong? I see you continue to delve into the production of Ferretti & C (ccp). I remember them well from those times, and I really liked their attitude (anachronistic? Maybe that one). I probably loved more the "mistakes," the paradox, and the grotesque (even iconographic) rather than what grips those who listen to them today. You resort to political definitions that, despite the usual misunderstanding generated by the iconographic apparatus and the "communication tactics," I believe are not pertinent (communist, fascist). But then, later on, you clarify the type of attitude and for the most part, I agree with you. - One question from a distracted person: was there a philosophical punk movement of which they would have been precursors? I mean, other groups, a sort of "school"? - But what matters to me is that "Curami," for example, remains magnificent: small, silly, stubborn, mocking. Perfect. And live, with their minimal means, they were very live. Very much so. Bai bai.

I like how you presented it, m. I still have the vinyl, and it's one of his more unusual albums (and one of the ones I'm most attached to), but despite being covers, it might be among the most "personal". I was in love, among others, especially with the less "dark": Something's gotten hold of my heart. Which one do you prefer? - I assume that, after your fairly recent discovery, you’ve embarked on a journey through his discography. May I suggest, in case you haven't come across them yet (but it seems you have), the first two. Naturally, there are also other titles. But those two, for me, are truly raw and alive; my favorite Cave. Bai bai.

Another report that seems quite valuable in its brevity. I confess an absolute ignorance (a name only read who knows where and when) and a lot of curiosity. The kindness of some samples? - Campagna Samples 2006 -

Hard, I haven't seen them in years. I didn't even know they had started playing again. Do you think Lalli will win the challenge? I ran into her on the set of "Nemmeno il Destino" and she had an almost "Gozzanian" air about her. They are still a reality apart. Truly out of the chorus. - But the "President" you mentioned can't be "il Disertore" by Boris Vian, the one Fossati translated and recorded in Lindberg? - Are you more hard-hitting or more caustic this time? Mhhh...

@Alessandra: "..the clarity of sound of Vassilis Tsabropoulos' piano and the lyricism of Anja Lechner's cello playing" "..seem to effortlessly find a perfect symbiosis in the performance of the pieces.." "..The balance is always perfect.." Well, I think we agree enough, don't we? Hi, have a good evening.
