The slow and steady rise of the current continues, among the DeBaser reviews of some particular users. Today I'm listening to this record, and once again I must thank Hal for the description and the recommendation.

Ah, Sfascia, I had no doubt, you are a true gentleman. On vacation while others are already back at work, long forgotten are the crowded beaches of August. The destination, I imagine, will be far and exotic...

Well, if we're talking about Brecht/Weill, we should also suggest Dagmar Krause, what do you think, Fusillo? After all, you already mentioned her when talking about Slap Happy. I heard her live years ago with the Balanescu Q., and they also performed some songs from the Brechtian repertoire - the versions (for example, the one by Cave, not bad) that many talk about are on an album you should listen to, also for the variety of interpretations. It was called "Lost in The Stars," if I remember correctly, and it gathers songs by Brecht reinterpreted by a lot of different musicians.

Good morning, gentlemen. I’ve sent a small parcel of samples, just for your enjoyment. It’s a nice record, not too immediate, but very refined. - Happy holidays to those who are going, and good work to those, like me, who are staying here. Perhaps dreaming of buying a house in Brazil (right, JoP?)

I still don't understand, dear Fest: does one thing perhaps prevent another? And if we don’t enjoy reading it, why do we write about it and stay here? Just think, after "reading" it, we even talk about it... there must be something twisted about it. - In truth, the greatest challenge is managing to "talk about it" (write about it, read about it) while recognizing and conveying what seems to be its "essence." It's not simple, and it's not possible for everyone to find the effective synthesis, the few perfect words. Then, for me, it seems now established, it’s a lost battle...

Damn, Festwca. Does reading tire you out so much? If it's written like this, reading is a pleasure... Are you also one of those who loves "quickies" regardless? :)

The last one went really well. I just finished a Socratic listening session and I'm delighting this stuffy den with the freshness of Beet, Mayze & Corn. Some advice can save afternoons, even after almost a year... Sorry if it's little. Hi Pacino.

From how you describe it, I think I’ll enjoy this even now...

Hey, Festwca, you’ve gotten back into gear in a big way... I don’t know these either (even though in those years I devoured a ton of stuff) I’ll see if I can catch up, even though today the biggest and wildest killer clowns aren’t exactly my favorites (you know how it is, you get older...)

I’m listening to it (I’m a bit slow but quite relentless in my hoarding). For me, a solid 3.5, which ultimately amounts to your 4, I believe. The description you gave was, as usual, spot on. Who knows what seemed so ā€œobsceneā€ to Giubbo… Bai bai
