Come on... I had a cassette for the R4: on one side the LA's, on the other the Eat. That one really wore out (just like the R4, battered with almost 250,000 km on its back). But I didn't have Epicure, damn it...

"The originality that birthed this album has the same seed as that which gave rise to 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' or the early albums of Pink Floyd. And I'm not exaggerating." - In short, just a little....

Your dad is lucky and has good taste, Bisius, make the most of it. I lent my vinyl and it never came back. A nice find, but too much greed in the description. You go to fish out a work from 16 years ago and dedicate it just a few rather vague words... At least some samples would be a must, at this point, don’t you think? - Campagna Samples 2006 - In any case, what you say is true, a very enjoyable record rich in beautiful melodic solutions, "fresh" but not "light" and with perfectly fitting sounds. Which indeed stand the test of time, unlike many other records from those years, which were luckier at the time. Therefore, the recommendation earns a solid 4. The record deserves something more. Bye.

Well, I won't comment on the rest of the fauna that it seems you had a chance to map out at his concerts, but personally I don't identify with any of the categories you mention, which didn’t really represent the vast crowd that was at his concert when I saw him in the summer of '80. - This, among his albums, is the one I feel most attached to, and it seems to occupy the smallest part of your text, which is mostly dedicated to a hasty "analysis" "historical" and "sociological" of the "phenomenon." Anyway, it's better than the "performance" of the omnipresent "jack-of-all-trades" Poletti on Exodus, which I still haven't digested (the "review," not Poletti).

I'm not the best conversationalist; I have only a few, about ten I think (all original), but if you take a look at the reviews on De Baser, you'll find many great suggestions. Anyway, for my personal and highly debatable tastes: from Masada, the 3, the one about Morricone, Spillane, the first Filmworks, Cobra (double and often). Then you should like the one by Pain Killer, Buried Secrets. Some of those reviewed on DeB are on my never-ending shopping list. - Cheers.
