From this page you come out "stoned", sweaty, and even lighter. And without spending a euro. Obviously, it's a Megafuzzu Free Pollution.

Yes, they have made others. But this one is the best, along with the previous one, "Music of a Sinking Occasion" from 2000 (this one seems to be from 2002). Get that one too, Dennigi. - I hadn't read this review. Beautiful.

The slow climb along the list of notes has led me these days to get my hands on the record. I'm here to thank you for the tip. Hi Giorgio.

Already "Pernambuco," delicate with verve, opens the album wonderfully. And right after, the version/reinvention of "Night And Day" makes it clear that we are dealing with a fine character (and even his not-so-excellent vocal qualities are balanced by a tasty mood). Great recommendation, Morningstar, thank you.
David Cronenberg Dead Ringers (Inseparabili)
Voto:
My favorite Cronenberg (for many reasons I don't feel like listing) along with "Spider." It's a formidable performance by J. Irons. It’s worth mentioning an anecdote about this: the following year, the actor was awarded the Oscar for his role in a mediocre film titled "Il mistero Von Bulow." During the awards ceremony, instead of thanking the director of that film, as per the ritual, his most heartfelt gratitude went to Cronenberg. Who, with Inseparabili the year before, of course, hadn’t won anything. - Well, and then what a delight the surgical gynecological instruments for mutant women....
Daniel Lanois Acadie
Voto:
It was a significant record for many at the time, marking, as the review rightly states, an example of fusion between "genres" where the great production qualities of Lanois were highlighted: his sensitivity in defining sound spaces, his unmistakable style in sound. Qualities that already emerged in the early '80s, even with a Canadian band I invite you to rediscover: Martha and The Muffins (especially "This is The Ice Age") - P.S.: someone who shamelessly fished in Acadie, producing an attempt as obvious as it was improbable at imitation, was Branduardi, with an album released shortly after this one (I seem to remember he at least had the decency to admit it) - This vinyl always finds a way to make a turn on the turntable from time to time. And it hasn’t aged.

Listening to the recent "Ma Fleur" reminded me of your review, which I had read but not commented on. The one mentioned by Hal, "Man with a movie camera" (a soundtrack "designed" for a silent film by Vertov) is my favorite of theirs. For "Every Day," almost 4. Bye.

I’m listening to it and I thank you for the tip. It’s a great album, it holds up very well over time. I’ll leave you a name for a listen not far from this one, which I found by chance: All India Radio: Permanent Evolution, from 2006, I believe. Bye.

Hi, Fusillo. I was listening to it last night and I thought about Z, who ended this review with that declaration of love... - Speaking of nostalgia: certain amusing users seem to live inside the site; you barely post a comment on an old review before they’re ready with their witty sarcasm, so bright and entertaining. Do you think we can be nostalgic for them? Cheers and kisses.
