Well, Psycho, you can cross off the Animal Collective from your shopping list....

One of the first vinyl records I bought was one of his, and it's been over 30 years. I had practically forgotten about it; tonight I'll listen to it again (if I can find the record). It's a shame that the habit of using other people's words persists; I still don't understand what sense it makes...

I left it there too, under the great star. And maybe I'll leave it there... Always good vibes from Supersoul.

Given the few listens, my judgment is a bit uncertain, but I largely agree with Psycho. The previous one, however, wasn't bad at all...

I didn't know anything about it. Great page, as always those of Fusillo. Let's try to ensure that it at least makes it to Raitre...
The Sisters Of Mercy & Ofra Haza Temple Of Love

Well, this version and the "cheap exoticism" of Haza seemed a bit tacky to me when it came out... Poor Ofra never created an album that did her justice, I believe. The halfway path she took was tricky in that regard. What I prefer is "Yemenite Songs," better than the pleasant "Shaday" which contains the single that everyone likes.

I know, I know... But a gift like that Christmas package deserved a jab, more than the beautiful turn (and marvelous assist) in Turkish land.

It's true that this is not "easy" music, but it's played incredibly well. A few names of those who participated might give you an idea: on guitars, Jeff Baxter (Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers), Larry Carlton, James Taylor (also background vocals), Robben Ford (also dobro); on bass, Max Bennett and Wilton Felder; on percussion and vibraphone, Victor Feldman; on piano and keyboards, Joe Sample (Jazz Crusaders); harmonica and vocals, Graham Nash; vocals and background vocals, David Crosby.

Do you enjoy piling on? And how come you didn’t check in with your buddy about the early Christmas gift at the Lady’s house? However, detesting those fans willing to deny every evidence, I admit that what we saw last night was disgusting. And I have a feeling we’re in for more excitement, given the lovely start to the day…
