Well, 5 stars for this kitschy piece and all the moralistic tarantella. Great job, dear Fabia. I'm starting to get attached.

But are there all those words in romantic love?

Yes, maybe it sounded a bit too harsh, almost like a definitive judgment, even if expressed in a doubtful manner. To find your reviews, however, just check your DeScheda under the section Le recensioni che scrive :))- That said, I take this opportunity to tell you that you seem like a great "new entry" for the site, both for your fluid and clear style and for the "territory" you explore, which isn’t fully covered here. Welcome, in short, and sorry if I was too direct.

Yes, Paolo, but it shouldn't be a search for consensus and approval: it's fine to praise Hal's comment that appreciates your page, but putting your own reviews among the favorites (the only ones) shows at least a certain egomania, don't you think? Maybe read some of Hal's, for example... Anyway, the little page is good, I like the album.

Well, as far as I know, the arrangements of Anime Salve are by Piero Milesi, who is not exactly a newcomer (although quite a "strange" person). He's the man who took on the tough task of "mediating" between the two visions of De André and Fossati. And he did it brilliantly, judging by the balance of the album. Then, the son... Well, I know musicians who have played with him, who know him well, and they indeed have respect for him, but the father's words are also very affectionate, just to balance the weight of the long shadow of his name on his son's shoulders, a shadow that has evidently produced tremendous discomfort, which Cristiano still cannot overcome and which underlies a rather "turbulent" existence... Of course, he is a skilled multi-instrumentalist, a good singer, but the average quality of his work is rather disappointing compared to his potential. That must mean something... - Here I read that he offers an excellent interpretation of his father's works... well, exactly. - Hi, Primiballi.

But is there a storm in your area, Biafa? Because I see your comments rather tangled up, as if a gust of wind had scattered your phrases... And who are these peasants compared to whom Lemonverde is "at least" polite? You say "you," and when you say you, I'm included too: I could feel offended, if only I felt like it... - Anyway, let's try to decipher, who knows if some other gem slipped by: you had forgotten a stereotype, which, however, in your fervent imagination, is not a product of your mind, but is "ours," meaning of us bystanders. Ah, right... And this third stereotype, the "intelligent" one, is not what you already mentioned in previous posts (remember, right? you wrote: women are not forgiven for being, I’m not saying intelligent...) No, that was another stereotype, not ours, that one, but yours, because you've decided that our two are the others. That one served the argument about the narrow-mindedness of others who don't forgive, etc. This other stereotype, the 3rd type, let’s say, is instead "ours," and you exemplify it by citing a dimwit to whom you replied with your enviable rhetorical brilliance (stunning the sharpness of the questions you posed, leaving one dumbfounded. How did the poor dimwit survive?) And here, however, you abandon the plural and speak to a single interlocutor, "don't hold it against me," you say, so I presume to be addressing me since at the beginning of the post there is a charming misspelling of my nick, sweet Fabai. But let's continue with the attempt to extract meaning: of that model there, of "intelligent," anyway, dear Aibaf, the world is full. Where did they tell you that "we" consider her intelligent? Just to keep ourselves updated... Perhaps at Uni? Do you speak like this, you young women outside the stereotypical schemes of others? Hey, cool! Then, after Uni, did you discover other models, do you have other enlightening anecdotes of cultural anthropology to subject to our endless thirst for knowledge? (No, what did you understand? Forget it, I was joking, that's enough) - Come on, I must admit, you still hit the mark: for us, "..people - especially girls - outside of your stereotypes throw us off." Well, yes, as I told you, I have only one stereotype, that women are all whores except for my mother (I have no sisters), and since I am a gentleman (you must have realized that, I hope) I cannot place you in the first category, and the second is already occupied. Yes, it must be admitted. I am thrown off (Am I or are we? How does it work, are we all of the same opinion, "we," regarding every topic?) and I remain thrown off. It’s been nice, and it didn’t even last that long. I was hoping for better, have a good stay, miss or mister or fake (the other hypothesized users you should/could be were pretty insignificant). With unchanged perplexity, an exhausted odra.

Anyway, I just put on "Conference of the birds" :)))

Yes, of course. Conference is a great record, obviously. But almost 40 years have passed since then; the review refers to the latest album, which highlights the outcomes of a journey that has traversed these 40 years, arriving at a style that is in some way akin to the mentioned masters, with a mastery of the use of ensembles, tones, and "colors" that are, for me, important qualities. Because in these albums, as paolo.assiero rightly says, you enjoy, from start to finish, "pleasantly varied atmospheres" conducted with class, supported by excellent interplay. And excuse me if that’s not enough :))

After the enlightening exhortations to rid oneself of the clutter, the shaky thesis presented in the text, the predictions about our perception of the world, and even the advice on the use of time. Periodically reviewing this will then allow one to draw from a presumably inexhaustible source of wisdom in bite-sized pieces: it will thus not be a complete waste of time... Dear miss, do you have a vague sense of how little of the book your little page and your comments actually address? And do you intend to place the responsibility for this on your interlocutors? Would you be so kind as to explain how you can consider the repetition of a mistake that one user has pointed out to you multiple times as an editing issue? As for the alleged stereotypes about women, don’t you think it's at least adventurous to believe that your convictions should also be attributed to your interlocutors? (the hen and the whore, to be clear, perhaps survive more in your questionable perception of the world than in that of others. Not in mine, for sure: for me, they are all whores, except for mom - it’s a vulgar joke, just to raise the tone of this drivel, perhaps it’s good to declare it) Regarding the tone and substance of the comments: the fact is, you have published a text here and this is the subject of the comments. If you believe they should be expressed exclusively about the book, then next time talk to us about the book. If you intend to instrumentally use a work to try to achieve the precarious balance of a thesis, don’t expect more than our patience allows. - I liked the book; however, when I read it, I was too young: indeed, it’s a book to be re-read, as happens with The Sound and the Fury (which I revisited not long ago) and many others, of course. To be re-read when the years allow for another approach: in my case, prematurely, quite coinciding with the profile that the lovely IAMASOULMAN sketches of the old William. A cordial greeting from the old satrap.

Excellent choice: Holland's latest albums demonstrate and confirm a steady growth in arrangement, making the most of what you aptly describe as "an intermediate-sized ensemble on which he can best experiment, leveraging the agility of a small combo while benefiting from the sound palette offered by such a wide instrumental spectrum." In a broader context, I very much appreciated "Overtime," with the Big Band, a lush and rich album from 2005. And on a side note, I also really like the covers of these recent works, simple and effective – A MICHOOS WHAT I would like to suggest, amidst a discography that makes the task challenging, is a quintet album from about a dozen years ago: "Points of View."
