@ALEXANDER77: Well, it’s not that different, after all, that’s writing for you, and the world too. In both, the protagonist is out of the cage but has some trouble adjusting... For me, it was the first; that’s how I discovered the author, many years ago. This probably plays a role too - p.s. it's interesting that on the page dedicated to the refined and “civilized” Portuguese, we end up talking about that thug Bunker. Beautiful DeBaser.

But hasn't anyone read "Like a Fierce Beast"? I believe it's Bunker's first, and it's the one I prefer...

Of the few books by Saramago that I've read, Blindness and this one are undoubtedly the ones that have found the most space in the sieve of my memory, but perhaps, mainly due to a sense of engagement during reading, in addition to the "descending" relationship between them, when I think of Saramago, I think of Blindness. There's something here that didn’t entirely convince me. I should reread it to find out what it is... - The cold, tireless, slowly carves out a path with its reviews that many will enjoy traveling, if stimulated by its reading recommendations. Beautiful DeBaser.

Most would recommend Auster's "The New York Trilogy," which effectively encapsulates and condenses the core of Auster's main specificity—namely, chance. But I suggest a title that at the time captivated me more than I might be willing to admit today, trusting an old memory: "The Music of Chance." It must be said that, despite the subsequent feeling of "superfluousness" in relation to his earlier works, which has gradually increased over time and with each title, I still ended up reading them all, after having said many times enough is enough... Auster, after all, becomes a habit.

Well, it may be overrated, but when it was released, it made an impact. The page is good. - @UNKLE69: well, the English aren't exactly known for their communal spirit, but excluding England from Europe seems a bit extreme as a stance :)

@Bartleboom: you always manage to evoke scenes that pierce my heart, you old romantic. It almost feels like being there with you, rather, that you are here with me, judging by the aromas that have invaded the air of the office...

Listened. Perfect for this afternoon. Full of beautiful songs, full of grace. Great tip.

I was thinking that, after all, Meddle deserves a re-evaluation...

@GREGORY SAMSA: indeed if they had seemed to sound better, it would give a whole different meaning to the sentence. While it seems to me that PINHEAD intended to highlight the fact that the managers, faced with the opportunity to showcase "people of the caliber of Animals Them and Sonics," would have had no qualms about rejecting them, so just imagine what they WOULD have done with the less known, etc. - In fact, the page is beautiful and passionate, and even though I only know "Back Door Man," it seems to well capture the essence of the matter.

Well, scrolling through the extensive list of musicians involved in the album, you come across some great names: Mike Mainieri, Ron Carter, Airto Moreira, Stéphane Grappelli, to name a few of the most famous... - I don't think I've ever heard this album; I'll look for it. Thanks. - p.s. I read that P. Simon points out some affinities between his latest album and this one. The last one isn't too bad.
