My Bloody Valentine Loveless

Once in a while, I will be a bit harsh, because I find nothing of what you say in this work, and I do not share your impressions at all. The fact is: you shift the focus of the discussion from one level to another, contradicting yourself and especially contradicting the intention of the musical movement to which you refer at the beginning of the review, which is indeed shoegaze. There's no need to give the usual lecture on what shoegaze is; the word itself reveals it, and it's been discussed on debaser. At this point, I wonder how you can talk about metaphysics, divinity, mystical contemplation, etc., if, first and foremost, it is a HUMAN record. In my opinion, you've stirred too much in the cauldron of catchphrases, mixing up the ideas. I completely disagree, goodbye.

...this is to say that not all the Novecentisti were influenced by Wagner :)

Oh my God, Wagner, save yourselves! I have always admired those who can love the German's melodramas, which I find hardly digestible and for which I appreciate only a few pieces. It must be quite an endeavor to follow the 5-hour plus of The Mastersingers. Your analysis is very interesting, but I observe that Puccini didn't take much from Wagner; rather, he stigmatized him by transfiguring the violent feelings of his mythological heroes/heroines into the ordinary emotions of common people, thus taking quite a distance from him. Then, musically there's an abyss. Wagnerian opera is a monolith, while Puccini's is a collection of variations on a theme.
New Order Power, Corruption & Lies

Ah, you nasty editor bastards, you hid this from me! I’ve been waiting for it for about a year! A milestone in an evolutionary journey where I preferred New Order to Joy Division. Beware those who downplay it by talking about dance.

Giya Kancheli Lament

I heard this during the first promotion you did here on de-b regarding ours. I certainly liked it more than In L'Istesso, which I found challenging. This is a lament, indeed, in every way: I appreciate the second part more, which is more focused on the figure of the soprano. It reminds me quite a bit of Gorecki's Symphony of Sorrowful Songs. Well, I would be surprised if you told me you haven't listened to it. Well, quite a bit.

Geenoo, it is my duty to tell you: << < - << - << in the only sideburn that is visible, you can clearly see the black of the hair. If it were shaved, you wouldn't see the color of the hair. Shaved comes from the verb "shave," which means to remove the part of the hair or the hair that protrudes from the skin. If nothing is protruding, you can't see the hair and consequently the color. >>. So, you need to explain to me how you can talk about shaved hair if the color is visible. Come on, you can do it: explain. >> Come on, come on. >> Come on, give it a try. >> > >

Well, "a raso" can also work as an expression: it's slang, and nowadays they'll accept anything as slang. The point is: it comes from "radere" because it's the past participle of that verb. And it's the past participle since "a raso" would mean "with hair shaved."

Damn, what grim stories though. Francesco, Punisher... now even Stronko is nowhere to be seen... all dead. If it were up to you, cemeteries would close for overcrowding.

This review is lacking, then. Kind of a letdown. The Punisher pulp reviews were something else. Take that!
