I don’t know them, but it seems quite interesting… Hi Spacca! :)

I don't even go crazy for Corman's films, in fact... anyway, from what I've read, it seems to me that this isn't actually an Italian film; besides, (that is, Ragona isn't really the director).

Sorry, I voted for the review instead of the movie.

Unlike more or less... everyone I can see, I've never really appreciated this film that much. Maybe it’s because I saw it when I was older. I find it a bit clever. 6/10
Alejandro Jodorowsky Santa Sangre
Voto:
I like it less than both El Topo and the unreachable holy mountain. I don’t know, it seemed more confusing to me (an adjective that with Jodo actually means everything and nothing), maybe it simply bored me a bit, while in the other two films all the strangeness captivated me and felt "natural." Nonetheless, the scene of the elephant's funeral is a solid 5, the work of an absolute visionary.
David Cronenberg Spider

I remember that I liked it (by the way, definitely more than this last Eastern Promises), but not to the point of going crazy over it, even though I feel this way about all of Cronenberg's work; never a bad film, but also no film that has completely won me over. However, I feel like revisiting Spider, and it seems to me reading around that among Cronenberg's latest works, it is quite underrated.

The setting in black and white at the EUR is fantastic, but here I imagine some people might disagree with me; I don't like certain pathetic tones that almost all of Price's films have, and unfortunately, this one is no exception. For me, if it had been more "dry," it would have been a much better film. Also, to be fair, before watching it, thinking about zombies and the like, I was expecting a thriller, and instead, there’s very little of that. Nevertheless, it's definitely superior to "Occhi bianchi sul pianeta terra." Two and a half.

Beautiful psycho, as always. I haven't listened to the album in ages, but A Minha Menina was a blast. I was intrigued by the parallel with the United States, which is very refined and composed, while I seem to remember the Mutantes' album being much more cheerful, garage-like, and unruly...
Billy Wilder Giorni Perduti (The Lost Weekend)

another wilder, another great film... I'll throw it out there, I've always considered it the twin film of "The Man with the Golden Arm" with a surprising Frank Sinatra.
Billy Wilder L'appartamento

Regarding the fact that he is the fiercest, I don't agree; in films like Front Page and especially the incredibly dark Ace in the Hole, Wilder manages to be even more wicked. Nevertheless, it's a splendid film.
