More than sudden, I would define it... Imperious. Otherwise, there's no way Dolce would give him the keys to make a copy. And then he has to settle for Gabbana. My God, how low I'm sinking.

It’s important to emphasize the crucial fact that when he says "mi han coperto di lodi e di sorriiSIII," it's as clear as day that some friend played a little trick on him, like a smack on the back for "sorriiSII."

Didn't I say? Ranking: he's the most beautiful for me too. Followed closely by the sheep, and right after that, the Buffalo and Rimmel.

Grass, you brought along "Looking for another Egypt from the other review :)"

together with Alice, he doesn’t know, my favorite. Even here, it’s not a joke, looking for another Egypt, Vincent’s information ("the carpet will be full of mice, yesterday on television they told me to stay calm"), well, a rainy day, and Windows of Pain is pure poetry. Poetic song, go, it’s better. Those famous ones by De Gregori are systematically the ones I like the least. And the one I like the least is Souvenir, which gives in a bit to the smooching. That said, can someone explain to me what the heck “but my address is via del sopracciglio destro, with all due respect” means?

Much better in the Italian phase. "Living On The Land Of Sweetener" is quite cute. Two is actually too much for me.

Nathan, I said a review was needed for "Goodnight Brother," not for 1940, which is also among my favorites and, by the way, we must mention the drum part in that piece, which is absolutely mind-boggling, and I would love to know who's playing on that track. Anyway, it was just a figure of speech when I mentioned the review, but you don’t even read the lines, let alone between the lines. You can tell me anything, but I don’t think I’m a fanatic. The reviewer knows the album well, but spending a few more words and allowing someone to become curious about this great record wouldn’t have been a bad idea.

I don’t even know who they are and I don’t know if I will ever listen to them, but it’s been a pleasure reading you. As always.

Aside from the singer's delusions, I also liked these :)

that's right. The three you mentioned, beyond the political aspect, are amazing pieces. By the way, you'll smile, but I didn't even know that Signor Hood was a political piece, despite some allusions, and I've read a ton of interpretations of Pablo, not very convincing. But the value of those pieces lies in the perfect and evocative writing, more than in the message. In fact, a (nice) piece like Il cuoco di Salò, aside from being less subtle with those heart-wrenching images, is also too emphatic. I know who arranged it, though, don't take it as a provocation :) For me, the worst of De Gregori in this sense might be "La valigia dell'attore."
