For everyone: this elusive character "popopo" keeps flooding my inbox with nonsense, insults, and everything else. Stay away from him.

It may be scandalous, but I simply bypass the "problem" by not caring at all. What do I care about what "Rolling Stone" writes (maybe they're even paid to write it)?

Do you see Manticore, why was it wrong to close psychiatric institutions?

Let's keep going, ajeje. Nice the "slow and boring" stuff you're listening to, huh??!! As for me, it's a pastiche that goes from Michael Franks to David Sylvian to Emerson Lake & Palmer and Renaissance. I just bought the triple live album by Dream Theater. Who knows..... Anyway... Merry Christmas to you, in the meantime!!

I asked myself the same question, Manticore. It has actually happened more than once (Black Moon and the tour a few years later), but there must be some deep-seated doubts about the underlying "staying power." Moreover, it's quite depressing to hear the tonal decline of Greg Lake's voice, and let me say, despite being energetic, Palmer's drumming feels a bit aged. It was nice while it lasted. After all, Emerson (undoubtedly the star of the three) seems to be continuing his career with a very respectable band, and that's already a good thing. If they had done like Yes, who managed to treasure their history with a minimum of continuity, we wouldn’t be here discussing it. Also, even if it may seem superfluous, I suppose that being almost sixty each on their backs isn’t exactly ideal for starting to tour again and re-enter the showbiz in a certain way, although, theoretically, those things could be overcome. Let’s be content with the legacy they've left. It's not little, it seems to me. Best regards, Manticore.

Beautiful and funny stories, Manticore! Believe it or not, my general practitioner, an old keyboardist from the protoprog band "Capsicum Red" (the one where Red Canzian used to play), found an original Hammond L 100 from a private seller in Oregon and had it shipped after ensuring that the instrument had been played no more than fifty times... Your collection of keyboards is impressive, though! I notice there is no trace of digital devices (like Richard Barbieri from Porcupine Tree...). But do you live with music? I mostly lend my guitars to one of my two sons now. After all, I could only play two or three ELP songs—the ballads by Lake. But now I work wonders with forks and knives, glasses and bottles at the table... :))

Oh, ajejebrazorf! It's been ages since I heard from you... and what a pleasure! We probably frequent different places. Tell me a bit: what are you listening to this winter?

Sorry Bjork, but... is the conjecture about the dual nature of your nickname true or not? Obviously, you are free not to answer, but maybe in this case it could raise some suspicion... (just kidding, okay?!) :)

@Porcupine: I suppose that mizi did what he could. At that time (the review is from 2003), there were practically no reviews of Wilson's group, and he, at least, paved the way. As for the brevity, I'll just say that I occasionally come across tediously long reviews (of which I might not remember anything afterwards) and appreciate the brevity of some (including this one) where a lot can be said succinctly. Points of view? Regards with porcupine sympathy. :))
