Ralph Towner Lost And Found
Voto:
Hi John! I read the review and I have to say that, for me, it's more interesting than Towner's work. Please don't take it the wrong way, but I personally consider "Lost and Found" one of the less significant works of the great guitarist. I have always been a convinced Towner fan, but in this case, we are far from the inspiring heights of the same "Ana" mentioned by Hal and published, if I remember correctly, shortly after. Nothing personal, of course. But if I listen again to "Solstice" or "Solo Concert" or "Blue Sun"—to name just "three"—I find (but I reiterate that these are my emotions and impressions) quite different "air". Until next time! :)

ah...I almost forgot: about "cs della vita," as you define them, or "unusual" situations, I (unfortunately) often find myself in such situations (and they are not always pleasant). They are not exactly "routine" for me. :)

Maybe I didn't explain myself well: I bought "the original one" (which doesn't have the video), and it's still on the way (online). I had the "remastered" version in my hands, in which I noticed the presence of this video (but you can also find it on Amazon or cduniverse, etc.), I suppose in quicktime. That's all I know. Alles klar?

Hey Dante! Clear-headed maybe just once... impeccable... in short. Ahmadinejad is better than me... Anyway, if you pay me (amount to be agreed upon between gentlemen), I’ll make sure to check all the ā€œdoubtfulā€ posts about you and I’ll roast them with malice and flattery. (If you pay me better also with meticulousness.) ;-) Regarding nobodyclooneynoparty: I WAS JUST JOKING. Bye Dante.
Area international POPular group Arbeit Macht Frei

I have the impression, Symbad, that YOU can write something about "Chernobyl" "Tic & Tac" and maybe even "Lupi sintetici...". Am I wrong? As for the rest, I’d say that the considerable importance and intrinsic value of "1978" has been well rebalanced. Historically, it represents an important step for the group, and Symbad outlines the issues that are not only essential but also relevant to their socio-political insertion, as this aspect is (at least up to this point) inseparable and necessary for their project. If back then someone had talked to me about what Symbad correctly defines as "edonismo stronziano," in the recent and still present situation, I suppose I would have thought they were pulling my leg. Unfortunately, I had to change my mind. Not only do groups like Area no longer exist, but in Italy there has been a progressive deterioration and nearly total disintegration of the "serious" musical fabric in the pop or jazz-pop scene. At best, we have para-Zappa phenomena like Elio & le storie tese or (more trashy and vulgar) i Gemboy. But there is no stance, no provocation, no attempt to undermine the "established order" in the musical staff and social ideas. Just imagine. That’s why Area have been historically, musically, and politically important.
Eros Ramazzotti In ogni senso
Voto:
Frankly, I don't understand what the point is of standing here to debate whether Ramazzotti is worth it or not, given the commotion and, in my opinion, the waste of time. After all, Senior 86 will keep listening to him and Grasshopper won’t. It’s really simple: do you like him? Good: buy it, listen to it, support it. Don’t like it? Ignore it and don’t buy it. If you have to talk about it with disgust, do it among friends so as not to offend the sensitivity of those who believe he has merits, in this case, musically. It’s VERY simple, right?

Right at the end, I bought the CD online (for a modest price), and then I discovered that there’s a "25th anniversary special edition - enhanced CD (with video)" that costs just a bit more. The next day, at a store I trust, I find out that the "remastered" version was there, ordered by someone who left it there about a year ago.....life's like that.....

Thank you, Kopf. Your enthusiasm and valuable insights are truly wonderful. For instance, I didn't know about "Canaxis" and "Canaxis V." Good vibes!
