Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young Four Way Street

great review, immense album. I briefly reiterate what I've expressed elsewhere about the sexy teen issue: please, ignore it. It’s trying to insert itself everywhere, evidently seeking any kind of validation just to feel like a protagonist or to attempt to spread its Nazi-stupid belief. Don't give it any rope in any way.

For BrunoDP: take solace; unfortunately, you’re not the only one dealing with these "wise guys"; they are tarnishing other reviews like parasites (Beatboy knows something about that) and probably, convinced of their superiority, they are trying to teach us something from the heights of their magnificent knowledge. I suppose there will be no way to stop them except with "non-violent" methods: completely ignoring them.

If I were to receive a "consigliodaamico" like that, I would really be a brain-dead fool to believe it was truly a piece of advice and/or even from a friend. Better to listen to Mozart and Wagner than to waste time trying to argue with people like that. Achtung Baby beat. This (or these) is a wonderful component of the wise team. The world is full of teams like that.

But why, then, don't you write a nice review about Jethro? Maybe something beautiful and interesting will come out of it! I'm not being ironic; I wouldn't mind the idea at all. :)

For Copernicus and the others: I believe that His replies, unfortunately, speak for themselves in terms of what they demonstrate and are worth. I suppose it’s not necessary to dwell on it, no matter how annoyed one might feel in the face of such arrogance. Besides, the "similarities & analogìe" requested show how for our "friend," parsley can also taste like chives and gorgonzola can resemble montasio. So, guys, please, let’s move on. Bye, He. No hard feelings. I think, tastes permitting, you still have a long, long way to go... :)

Dear Fosca, I must trust the warm welcome of the debaserian community. And it seems to me that, judging by the review, there are good reasons for it. On the advice of my friend Gabriele, I listened to Hollis about a year ago, and despite my hesitations (prejudices towards Talk Talk?), I must admit that I discovered an unexpected and fragily tender twilight work. A "Sylvianesque" way of approaching the subject without the structural approach of the former Japan. It’s a piece that struck me but that I find difficult to revisit because perhaps it goes too "deep" and would tend to (re)open some wounds. So it’s a purely personal-emotional matter. For the rest, it’s a splendid and rare work for its climates and atmospheres. Well done, Fosca, keep writing.

Listen bibìebibò: talk about your own matters and don’t rudely appropriate things and excuses that don’t concern you and of which you are not the intended recipient. Instead of reading Socrates, do kindly reread the manual of good manners; you must have missed a few chapters. Also, don’t try to retort with silly accusations of being touchy. This is not the case and it doesn’t hold. See to "slampare" with someone else, you big charmer, for your "peculiarities."

I met Kurt, and he is a very curious person. He was intrigued by Sangría, so I let him taste a bit of mine. By the way, he speaks decent Italian, so it wasn't hard to understand each other. He plays the piano wonderfully and on the guitar, I get it, he’s delightfully "Strano" (but how many other guitarists are?). Frisell isn't, perhaps? Or Pat Martino? A couple of years ago, I saw Jim Hall as well; he doesn't play like he did thirty years ago. It's all about his (beautiful) personal journeys. Even the sclerotic Barney Kessel is still very attached to his forms of "staccato." And what about David Torn? Up until "Cloud About Mercury," it seemed like he wanted to fit into the Rypdalian lexicons, and then... Ah..."San Lorenzo"... the one you're referring to is not on "The Road To You" but on "Travels," and there's an unforgettable solo by Lyle Mays. Those two (Metheny & Mays) kept me alive when I was in the military ("Wichita") and delighted me for years. I consider "September 15th" (and you know what the date refers to) one of the fundamental pieces of my life. Yes, if we can, let’s keep in touch. Frankly, I've kind of stepped back from jazz, fusion, and jazz contamination; I've returned to my first love, rock, with all its incredible facets today; one thing, however, shouldn’t exclude the other. Ah, I don't know Charlie the "hunter." Who is he?

For Donjunio: it will be as you say, but in the film distributed on VHS and then on DVD at Woodstock, Mr. Young was definitely not there. I will check again, although it seems to be of relatively little importance. :)
