Disappointing album from a band that had undeniably captivated me after "Parachute" and "A Rush Of Blood." Songs mostly lacking in bite, sloppy, repetitive, and with very little flair. A first misstep. But it can be forgiven. We'll see.

Nice recovery, velvet gray, of this charming work by Tofani. It's a rather engaging rock novelty album (and contrary to the trends of the '70s) and it's interesting perhaps precisely because it was Tofani, and not just any songwriter, who created it. The Tcherepnin (another thing that goes against the prevailing use of the Moog at the time) is used in at least a bizarre way, but Tofani was accustomed to these things and, of the entire collection, remains at least, as you say, a majestic "Land Of Magic Wizard." I suppose it’s a typo, but referring to the '70s, it should be written "seventy" and not "seventeen"..... . Best regards :)

Nice review. I had also stopped at Cupido e Psiche 85 and Provision. The latter was honestly too "easy," so I left Green to its fate. Resurfacing them in 2006, however, has something intriguing about it, especially after this favorable review.
