Trinkets or trifles as Totò would say.......:) it's true, Anderson; what do we care?!

Robert Fripp: I waited a fucking long time to find "First Utterance," and finally, at a convention, I managed to get my hands on it; it's even a version with bonus tracks. However, I would like to listen to the other Comus album, "To Keep from Crying"; a Virgin from '74. Is there a version that isn't paired with "First Utterance"? @Dante: In case Madonna has bored you, we could try with Janet Jackson. Pretty hot, huh?!!!

No problem, Pippo; if only you knew how much I mess up with old age...

Sorry, I didn't understand: the lynn (which is actually Linn) drum of Ludwig? The Linn is from Linn and is a drum machine, indeed, one of the very first; Ludwig is a glorious brand of drums. (real ones). Two different things.

Yes, but guys, let's not start the vicious cycle of "this music is better than that," because this tune, and I have proof, always ends up wrapping around in on itself and never leads to anything good. Let's allow the kids to listen to whatever they like, regardless of whether we like it or find it disgusting, and we’ll listen to what we like. Simple, right?
Gino Vannelli Nightwalker

Pippocalippo: now that you’re thirty-eight, you could make an effort and try to listen to the "other" Vannelli. You might even like it. Any titles besides "Nightwalker"? "Gist Of The Gemini," "A Pauper In Paradise," "Brother To Brother."
Makoto Ozone - James Genus - Clarence Penn The Trio
Voto:
I have known Ozone for many years. He came to play as the pianist for Gary Burton's group in my area, and we talked a lot over dinner. An educated, kind, and very polite person, he was as happy as a lark because I confessed to him that his piece "Times Like These" had mesmerized me. Then, during the concert, from behind the scenes, I watched him as he played this piece, smiling and pleased with how beautifully it was coming together. I saw Genus many years ago with the late (and great) Bob Berg. He is a bassist who has grown over the years. Initially, I found him a bit predictable and flat, but gradually I noticed a significant improvement in terms of performance, feel, and personality. The only thing I've heard from Clarence Penn is his elastic and modern drumming on a record by Mainieri's Steps. I really like his approach. Thank you for this suggestion. By the looks of it, there should be enough "chemistry"......

I wouldn't want to seem inappropriate, but the quote about "jam on bread" should be attributed to the first album of Opus Avantra ("Introspezione") and not this one. Furthermore, Donella del Monaco was no longer present here.

Just Pippocalippo. Like tuna. Better to eat it in slices than whole. You'd risk choking. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Enjoy your meal. :)
