@Roby 86: I tried to contact you privately through debaser, but there's some issue, it seems with your inbox. I kindly ask you to reach out to me at my email address. It's pretty much the same as my nickname on this forum: antoniodeste@yahoo.it. I need to ask you a couple of things. Thank you for your trouble.

@Robert Fripp: It’s not easy to answer; I know people who quietly listen to Gentle Giant, Ornette Coleman, and Tiziano Ferro; so you can never really say what might please a music lover, even though, in theoretical terms, a "trained" ear should be able to handle the most diverse things. As for the approach to so-called "Krautrock," let’s say that there are more schools of thought within it; there’s the more rock-experimental trend, the electronic-experimental one, the purely electronic, and the purely experimental. I would say that Can could be a good starting point; perhaps with this album, or better yet, "Soon Over Babaluma." Julian Cope should be taken for what he is; a crazy sage with his wonderful and eccentric tastes. Of course, compared to "Ege Bamyasi" or the experiments of "Tago Mago," we are quite distant here, so... However, if I listen to "Kilimanjaro" by his Teardrop Explodes (82), it’s nice, but where is the experimentation and avant-garde?

Wishbone Ash: one of the most underrated hard blues rock bands of the '70s. A big round of applause to Tarkus for bringing them back from the fog, especially with their beautiful "Argus"; I would love to suggest to those interested the double live album "Live Dates" (74 or 75) where you can find fiery versions of their best studio tracks, particularly "The King Will Come."

Yes, yes Dante, nice review for Uncle Frank... but I think it would have been better if you had reviewed another Madonna album. At least we would have laughed more... Jokes aside, really congratulations on the detailed analysis and the exceptionally competent style. Personally, I consider "Zoot Allures" much more than "decent," if only for the presence of "Black Napkins" and "The Torture Never Stops"; and "Bongo Fury" is way too fun, nothing like decent! Keep it up Dante; this, in my opinion, is one of your best. (Let's hope for Madonna next...) :D

This is one of those albums that's difficult to handle. I was decidedly taken aback just ten minutes into the album back then. I’m a musician, and having played a bit of everything, I also love improvisation... reasoned improvisation. Here, however, there's a boring and overwhelmingly heavy sound jumble devoid of the slightest desire to transport, engage, or create lasting emotions. I emphasize that this opinion is expressed by a long time fan of Fripp and the band, whom I follow closely with every release. I instead find the previous "Thrak," contrary to the judgment expressed by Manalishi, to be a work of much greater substance and more than worthy of being counted as one of the most interesting chapters in the new course of Crimso's history. Crimson greetings.

@Dante: Mazzini understood as that of Young Italy who brought glory to our resurgence or Mazzini in the sense of Mina? I believe there should be no doubts about Gassman... I would instead like clarifications on this group, "Pinkfloid," who supposedly made an album "Darkside on de moon"; tell us about it, Dante, come on, you’ve piqued my curiosity.
