Ali Farka Touré & Toumani Diabate In The Heart Of The Moon

The pairing is not bold. It is sublime. And it's incredible that you too love and understand the music of Ali Farka Toure to such an extent. Perhaps this is what it took to make me return here again.
Funkadelic One Nation Under A Groove

great gem...we are still far from maggot brain or from free your ass...these are the funkadelic perhaps closer to parliament, but still at their highest splendor. My favorite from the second period along with the last one and Uncle Jam Wants You. Well done Zara

Thank you anyway for considering my take too!!!! For a slightly different opinion... well done Lewis anyway.

Ah, a note: my email is broken, so I can't read the message you sent me. If you get in touch here, I'll try to give you another (working) email, and best wishes for the holidays.
Billy Joel 52nd Street
Voto:
Pop with flair, not at the level of "The Stranger" or some tracks from the pre-Phil Ramone era, but still very enjoyable. And "Zanzibar" is a gem for the few, because not many have the courage to dive into tasty yet highly ostracized albums like this one. Great nightwalker.

Returning after months to Debaser to find a gem like this makes me question my somewhat disdainful exile... there’s all the passion that a worthy reviewer of this site should have, all the interest in sparking some healthy debate (who cares if at the bottom some of it is provocative...), and a love for what we listen to. Enough to celebrate an album that, all things considered, is modest in Elton John's career. After this review, it shines again, albeit with reflected light, but it shines once more. Maybe I’ll give it another shot too. Maybe.
Alice Cooper Love It To Death
Voto:
Great album, fun and gruesome...good times, the curiosity is that in mirage years like 1971, heterogeneous pearls like Alice, L.A. Woman, Tapestry, Elton John’s golden era, Hunky Dory, etc. brushed against each other in the charts...embarrassment of choices..Masahiro, well done!
Mr. Bungle Mr. Bungle

unforgettable pearl....a review to sift through but in a state of fribillation...and then with choices like these! Damn, the Faith No More album seems to have been called The Real Thing...Epic forever

Anyway, you are right, it's been a long time since I last wrote, I've had my issues and my meager job often takes me far from you. And then I didn't think anyone would have noticed my absence.. :) If you want me back at work (at least you can be the ones to criticize me!) I promise to return among you! I just feel a bit down reading the comments from users that are circulating on the site these days: there are no more real music comments, passionate exchanges of opinions related to the reviewed album, many (sometimes including myself) waste a maximum of two lines to insult or praise an album and a review without providing explanations, without a bit of - as fabbiu would like - healthy stimulating forum. Reviewers also need some satisfaction, and on one hand, I think I gave a bit more to criticize fabbiu by appreciating him than by saying three words of indifference. And anyway, fabbiu, if it wasn’t clear, that comment about the reviewers' ranking was a joke…
