Lucio Battisti Amore e non amore

Aeneas among Battistians, one must understand each other...imagine, I initially wanted to do it about E' Già!!! You're also an old lucesco pig...yes, the girl is the wife, and the horses are those from the Battisti-Mogol tour of Italy.

One thing: but what does the note on the back of the CD thanking Pappalardo for expanding his concepts in running and musical rhythm mean? Did they go jogging together with Adriano, or was he the one responsible for the monotonous rhythm that annoys for half the album (the one with the electronic drums and the bell, to be clear)??? Personally, I'm fond of this album; it made me see the more human and vulnerable side of Lucio. It showed me that even he can make a big blunder. And we can take it with poetry, like an innocent toy to have fun with the family, making it clear that the end with Mogol is not an existential drama after all. After all, Rapetti was busy writing songs for Cocciante in the meantime, and our guy hit us with the masterpiece four years later. Because Don Giovanni is a masterpiece; it’s Lucio’s Creuza De Ma. Too bold of a statement?

forgive me the mistakes, Lucio's wife is named Grazia Letizia, but I confused her with a friend of mine.. and I meant to say "nonexistent contempt for religion." eneathedevil you are a great telepath

At the ARCI club near my house, they play "Get on the Floor" every evening before having a little game of "trinchetto" on the tresette... well, "Totisque Thriller" is "something else," and with that, we understand each other.
Weezer Weezer (Blue Album)

yes yes, I know I know, but I was primarily interested in putting a nearly definitive stop to the discussion that had taken place here on debaser. There were already a couple of forums on the topic, so I preferred to respond in my own way. I still regret using poor weezer as a sacrificial lamb to explain my reasons. If I had more space, I wouldn't waste it like this, I swear. But unfortunately..... if you're up for it, I can commit a sacrilege and break a deb dogma: I'll continue this with another review. Let’s call it the second part. Let me know, dear ones.

one of the greatest albums of all time, incredible. And yet it influenced the future too little...

Forgive me easy, but with such a vast topic I've had to fall into some clichés within the (meager) 30 lines that are allowed to us.. but you will agree that a piece like Columbia is very British and far from the Weezer style and the like.. x anonimo, the album is from '94 if you didn't get it..! please francis

I recommend "la compagnia" by LBICE... or the unplugged version of "ancora tu," in any case, this is the best of the LBICE.../ITNT/1DPA trilogy because it represents the culmination of the search for the holy grail of Italian pop. LBICE... is still a very good attempt, while 1DPA is the triumph and full exploitation of the formula.

sorry for the mistakes but I'm in a hurry I wanted to say "same impression as you" "maybe you've been there longer than me" pardon

Sorry for interrupting, but I also had the same impression as you, Antonio, about the atmosphere that sometimes prevails on the site. Ultimately, it's perhaps the price of freedom of speech, the freedom to say even silly things or to express valid points but in a clumsy way. In the end, I think it's normal for small niches to form where you can find people more like you, musically and otherwise, a bit like when, after the first days of school, a group of 4-5 little friends would form and they felt more at home with each other. But it's also nice to be jostled every now and then by off-key reviews or by people who chime in just to speak up— or rather, to type up. You may have been around for a while, perhaps even longer, but it doesn’t matter. Nice to meet you! And please write me another review soon; I also want to get to know this Porcupine Tree if it’s like you say!
