Hey, what if we all went and got high? What do you think?

Harry: my wife is Flemish and I've lived here for 5 years. As for the Netherlands, I wouldn’t know what to say, and regarding Belgium, I believe it’s quite non-existent; it would have made more sense to create two states, one for the Francophones in Wallonia and one for the Flemish in Flanders, but I fear it’s too late now. Both sides can only learn to tolerate each other, a bit like in a marriage that isn't going too well. Divorce is too demanding an option.

Correction of Uncle Harry's comment No. 82. <"gij" stands for the Dutch "je"> this has nothing to do with it. Either you turn "apen" (plural) into "aap" (singular) or "ga gij" (go) into "gaan jullie" (you all go). If you're going to insult someone in a foreign language, at least do it properly...

I am intervening in this edition of the Tribuna Politica to point out to Harry that apen (monkeys) is plural, so you need to correct the verb and pronoun (ga gij) in the sentence you wrote. Oh, I almost forgot: bare asses.

What to say, cold... I imagine the emotional hangover has passed by now. Great review.

I know the band (even though I've never listened to a single note) because Bob Weston played with them (who was also in Rachel's, as well as Shellac). Great review as usual.

I agree with the reviewer's assessment (by the way, welcome). The final part of the album is a bit weak, and in general there are several tracks that could have been kept for a b-sides album (off the top of my head I’d say month of may, modern man, deep blue), but there are 4 or 5 songs where they once again display their talent (the two parts of half light, suburban war, ready to start). An album likely destined only for those who already know them; those who can't stand them will hardly change their mind by listening to this collection of songs.

I join the other commentators. In case you didn't know yet, the review has been added to the De-casistica, meaning here DeCasi.Letterari
