This editorial is interesting.

From what little I know of it, it doesn't even seem to be directed by Allen. In the end, maybe I didn't understand much; it could be that I haven't been going to the movies much lately, or perhaps the fact that I've never read any books by Uncle Fedor. I also believe that Scarlett J's presence has contributed significantly to the film's popularity. It's worth remembering for its simplicity, from the dialogues to the cinematography.
