If we want to talk about exports, there are valid groups in Italy: just consider glaring examples like Roy Paci and Aretuska, who played at the last two editions of the Werchter festival in Belgium (in front of tens of thousands of people); the Afterhours, who are about to release their latest album in English, and who will soon perform with Lanegan and Dulli; and I could continue with many other examples (ZU, Jennifer Gentle, Larsen...). This has to mean something, right? We Italians are the first to shoot ourselves in the foot and to create our own inferiority complexes compared to the rest of the world (not just Americans and English).
