the album of theirs that I've been listening to the most lately. Their discography has other milestones, but this little record is more than recommendable, even for those who don't know them.
Nanni Moretti Bianca (1984)

the Moretti film I know best. Laura Morante is beautiful.

@bodhi: Kate Ryan (real name Katrijn van something), her song presented at Eurosong last year (a catchy little pop number) was totally forgettable, but she is quite a hottie (just remember that makeup works wonders...). @donj: I live near Leuven (Leuven for the locals), 30 km east of Brussels, and it's about sixty kilometers from here to Liège. I must clarify that my girlfriend practically forced me to watch the Eurofestival...

Here in Belgium, Eurovision is one of the television events of the year, capable of generating support for its representative on par with the excitement of a World Cup... you should have seen my girlfriend's face last year when the singer representing Belgium was eliminated in the preliminary round (and this year the Belgians came in 26th out of 28 participating nations...). The impression I have is that it's a showcase for the most extreme trash - by comparison, Sanremo is the Tenco Prize - but despite that, it must be admitted that this year's edition featured some nice songs (the representative from Georgia presented a truly interesting track).
Richard Lowenstein He Died With A Felafel In His Hand

one of my favorite movies. the book by John Birmingham (from which this film is adapted) is even more grotesque, if possible.

In reality, Josi's positions are well-known, at least to those like me who have been hanging around Debaser for a while. I particularly remember his stance on the referendums regarding assisted reproduction (expressed on a forum... ah, the good old days of forums... dwarfs, when will you reopen them?) articulated, among other things, with extreme politeness and knowledgeable insight. The same politeness I found in today’s editorial, which I don't consider scandalous at all, even though I start from completely different premises and don't agree with him on the matter. Furthermore, it's not true that Debaser is unaligned, and I see nothing wrong with that: it's aligned with the dwarfs! Moreover, the fact that even interventions like that of His Eminence Josi ;) find their space seems to me a great exercise in democracy. Antmo, again, congratulations on your radio debut. I'm not familiar with that, but I really like Wearing yr Smell and Trapdoor, and I remember them as super cool. Right?

I have a question: did you write this review? Because this part here: "Welcome To The Machine," cold and vibrant at the same time, marked by inhuman mechanical rhythms and pushed forward by the small chords of an acoustic guitar, is the voice of a monstrous automaton that probes the desires and dreams of the young Syd... It's also found on kalporz: RE:COOPERATION, Transcollaboration (Uncle Buzz Records, 2003) – Kalporz ensioni/wishyouwerehere.htm or did you write it using another nickname?
