I’ve never listened to the Residents either, so go ahead with the rotten vegetables. I fully endorse Psycho’s comment from a moment ago.

Seen live in Brussels about a month ago (just the three of us without the Tunisian musicians): it's a constant, head-down assault. The drummer is a punishment from God.

@ N.I.B.II.O: what I wrote is simple to understand: among the albums listened to from 2000 onwards, this is one of the most beautiful I've had the chance to listen to. Keep in mind, I'm talking about albums I've listened to during this period as well as rediscovered, since along with more current things like the first Mars Volta (there’s THE album of the decade, in my opinion, mind you), I’ve had the fortune to rediscover incredibly interesting things, from Robert Johnson to the Gun Club, passing through Guitar Wolf and Yo La Tengo. These are my tastes; you’re not talking to Bertoncelli or Christgau here. Oh, and if you think my criteria are strange, you're absolutely right: take a look at the stuff I’ve reviewed if you like. Have a good Sunday.
