And here I was complaining because with another review it seemed like my inbox was about to explode... Matteo, you're tricking everyone! A friendly "take that" for today too!!!

Exactly South, Giusto Pio is everywhere. Alice's best work is "Gioielli Rubati" mainly because it features "Luna Indiana," which finally has a proper lyric, performed in a truly divine way (if you'll allow me the pun!). "Alice canta Battiato" instead contains "Per Elisa" and "Il vento caldo dell'Estate," the two hits of Alice, and then you just have to choose from "chan-son egocentrique," "i treni di tozeur," "mal d'africa," etc. One thing, though. She has a beautiful, refined voice, but it's too cold and ultimately cloying. It's as if Alice sings only for herself while the wild Giuni, though generous, cannot control her voice and lets herself be overwhelmed. The blend of the two would truly create the perfect contralto!

I know very well Battiato and Giuni Russo just because, SouthMan is right, she is indeed a creation of Franco. Giuni has the ability to reach sublime heights with her powerful mezzo-soprano voice and then miserably collapse on the catchy tunes necessary to make a living. After all, even Alice, who is another Battiato creation, despite Jansen and Karn, has managed to go beyond the master. Good review.

Matteo, I honestly have to tell you what bothers me about your reviews, so get angry if you want. It’s not so much the music (which is often violent, aggressive, and deafening), but the way you talk about evil and wickedness, and that’s why some suggest Coltrane or Battiato to you and not just from this review. I also hope you don’t agree with Teskyo's mass destruction delusions... Anyway, yes, I also read the reviews of professionals and often feel like throwing up just like you, which is why I prefer to wander around de-baser and read reviews here rather than in newspapers. I'm sending you a smile, Matteo, because even though you try to be offensive, in the end, you just come off as likable :D and make everyone chuckle!
