Guys, we are facing a masterpiece of Swedish melodic death metal... actually, better to say THE MASTERPIECE!!! for all the fans of Swedish death like In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, At the Gates... The different style of these 3 bands mixed with epic-apocalyptic-devastating melodies... The result is a work complete in all its compositional characteristics... The guitar alternates from ultra-technical crushing riffs, alternating with spot-on melodies, beautiful and captivating arpeggios that will make your soul leave your body for an insane mental journey... The drummer, formerly the singer of Sacrilege, unleashes a voice from the depths of hell alternating diabolical-killer screaming vocals and a fascinating and at the same time frightening growl from its evil prominence! while at the same time delivering super-fast and pounding rhythms... an underrated work... perhaps a bit too much!!! You don’t hear many CDs of this caliber these days... let yourself be carried away by this masterpiece!!! To mention a few songs "Summon the Masses and Walk Through the Fire", "Moaning Idiot Heart", the title track "The Fifth Season", "Seduction Nocturne", in my opinion the best!!! If you listen to melodic death metal, run and get this album and if you have no money... STEAL IT (just kidding) !!! it's just advice... I assure you that you will put your hands in your hair!! Forget about nu-metal... these are the CDs that leave a mark and truly provoke strong emotions!!!
