Certainly a 5 for "Dark Side of the Moon" is not the same 5 you would give to O by Damien Rice, but "Damien yes, but only up to a point" you could easily change your mind if one Sunday morning you woke up with a breakfast tray in front of you, steaming coffee, and Damien Rice playing in the background...

However, grant me that some death metal bands are just noise. Maybe it will comfort you to know that I also consider people like Baglioni to be unbearable noisemakers, and if I had to choose between the "noise" of death metal and the "noise" of Baglioni, I'd choose death metal. Just to avoid seeming like someone whose brain has melted away in sugary little songs!

@Cliff: no, you're right, it's a ridiculous cliché I fell into after reading Teskyo's comments, but at that moment, I was really angry. Anyway, I didn't mean metal=nazism, I meant Teskyo's attitude=nazism, but unfortunately, I'm the one who always uses the plural when I write, both in the first and second person, and so it seems like I'm generalizing... can you forgive my hardheadedness? :)
