Easy, if you ever sign a contract with a record label, then we'll talk about it again. The current economic crisis is terrifying; record labels are losing money everywhere, including America, and artistic control over one's own album is not accepted. What matters is how much an album will sell, and out of a set of tracks, at least 2 are needed to sell the album. Those 2 tracks are carefully crafted with arrangers who do it for a living. This is the standard production of an album. Even Robert Smith, as much as I love and respect him, must have worked with those who arranged the 2 leading tracks for the masses. He may not have had the final say since he is the one who signs, but that’s how it is. Biographies and journalists that may be referenced.

But Frantzino, you can't talk about girls like that without even remembering... knowing you, you probably pretended to be the big bad wolf as usual!!!! ;)

Easy, believe me. I escaped from a production house. Art? They don't even know what it means.

Antimo, the review is BEAUTIFUL. This 5 is the 5 plus 5 that I've given out lately (excluding the 5 for Maledetta Primavera, but as we know, the heart wants what it wants and I'm crazy about it even if it doesn't give me any attention at all) ;)

Snif and I, who couldn’t make it because of a wedding (guys, a double ceremony, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, from out of town) of a friend... :(

Wish was released back in 1992, which is 14 years ago; go now to a record label and say "you will produce this for me." Believe me, with the money that's not there, the people being left at home, and the offices closing down, in 2004 you either produce your own records, like David Sylvian, or it just doesn't work anymore.

No Easy, this time you're completely wrong, your analysis is superficial. I absolutely agree with Spark and I assure you that no artist, I know the music industry well, has total control. Moreover, every famous artist is well aware of the need for a track that "pulls" the album, meaning that it’s impactful, catchy, and easily fits into radio playlists, both for promotions and for any commercial spots that pay a lot. No one lives on art and air alone; they also need bread.

But this is a plain and simple blackmail, you don't even know how many CDs I have... ask Foska if you don't believe me... ;)
