Let’s clarify. Buzzin didn’t offend anyone. That’s not the point. The review, as he himself says, is nonsense. And it’s written terribly. He might have been drunk, or maybe not. I really like dogs, a lot, often more than people. If he had told me about Coso and done it with passion and proper writing, instead of slacking off, I would probably have judged it differently. But I don’t think that’s the case here. You can write nonsense and bring out unimaginable things. The point is that many have mistaken debaser for their refuge of sinners, or their diary of free thoughts. That’s why I often suggest Facebook, with thumbs up, it works better than Prozac.
About Deb. I don’t like the general trend much. But that’s a personal problem of mine and others who have recently chosen to spend less time there than before. What makes me laugh is that here, once upon a time, those with a poet/literary ego were told to shove it. Today, that’s not the case. Nowadays, it’s all fives raining down. In a truly pathetic manner, and if you don’t notice it, it’s because you have ego issues. There’s a user with excellent language skills who wrote a series of reviews starting with: "Today I was defecating and the black shit came to mind" or "today I was fiddling with my tool and the tool came to mind." And down go the fives. And one looks, reads, and can’t help but laugh. And feel pity, because then criticism helps one grow. And then think that Facebook and, in general, the need to be liked has erased the neurons of many.
The end. I’m going back to listening to the Vapors of Morphine. I’m sure there were some debaserites at the concert.

Yeah, sure, but don’t get offended if someone thinks of you as a bunch of losers and wannabes. I’m just asking why you don’t go write your nonsense on fb or on ondarock; you’d fit in perfectly there.

Well done, really. Maybe because it’s written the way I like, but it left me with a nice feeling. Images without forcing. Just the right words are enough (and that’s not easy, I can’t manage it).
I don’t know the album, I had never heard of her. As soon as I find a minute, I’ll give it a try. Maybe October will be ideal for Ben as well.
Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts Blaster

It's really difficult to talk about Scott. Heart was pretty harsh, and I understand her. Weiland is a kind of icon to whom few feel truly attached. But those who do are really devoted. For me, he is the true loser of the 20th century. Him and no one else. Talented like few, yet reduced by four monkeys to the rank of poser ("he wasn't really using drugs, it was all an act"), a caricature of Vedder (who, as exceptional as he is, never had the versatile talent of Weiland).
I actually think you write well, but some of your reviews feel like homework. In my opinion, if you’re writing a review about Scott, the first thing you should emphasize is how a fool, no matter how convinced he is, remains a fool. And the second is to highlight Scott's great talent, sometimes unfinished and other times fully realized.

Well done, Carlo. I read it without even realizing.

Had he put all that talent to the service of music instead of his own, today we would be talking about a demigod. And instead... he remains an enormous electric guitarist, perhaps the number 1.

Crazy group, talent to sell in packs. I'm sorry about the concert, I had the same thing happen with Gary Moore, my great guitar idol, at the Pistoia Blues a few years ago. Even today I get annoyed just thinking about it, a lot. Beautiful beautiful, well done, I really like the historical references, memories are a beautiful thing.
Ps I, on the other hand, have never been able to get attached to any magazine; I've always seen a lot of self-serving and sooo much "politics" in the sense that they choose an editorial line and stick to it even against the real value of it or of the records reviewed. At Rumore, they were very "let's be weird," and they would have positively reviewed even a symphony of intestinal noises if it had been the work of one of their protégés (who, by the way, was often only protected by bribes... they say noises...).
